Whats the Deal with the Angelic Amulet

Hey Guys,

I am currently trying to get the angelic set amulet for my MF hammerdin, I thought with the rings it is a good way to make it through lvl12 - Hammertime(when I can afford the mana that is). Well noone wants to trade for it. I offer many Pgems, even 3 thul runes, and other +1 skill amulets and decent jewels.
Am I ignorant :scratch: ? and just don't realize the value of this amulet? or are people that stingy at beginning of ladder where they expect godly items for a normal set item?

The amulet is the least likely part of the angelic set to drop.
If you really want to hunt one down I suggest the tombs in act 2 as I have had 2 drop there for me. Rings drop all the time, so does the armor and the sickle.

Angelic set worked pretty good on my druid until i got to level 30.
I still use an amulet and 2 rings on my 75 barb
 
Thanks freak of nature, I will give the tombs a try but I just wish people would trade for it, make things so much easier. It got to the point where I was going to trade a Moonfall Jagged Star I found recently for the amulet. Maybe I still will........In fact for the armor and amulet I would be convinced to trade it.
Has anyone else had a hard time trading for some essential low level pieces so far in ladder? Seems like everyone just wants to trade runes 4 runes or godlies 4 godlies.

Ya i have found trading for essential low level items a pain in the butt. So much so i even made a level 78 sorc for MFin' my own items.

I play on west sc ladder, usually on after 9pm pst.

look me up and we will see about tradin for an angelic ammy

well as far as it goes, its supply and demand, that amulet along with 2 rings adds the following:
24 ar per clvl
115 life
some regen life
damage goes to mana(pretty much replaces mana leech)
10 dex

thats a good combo for any melee char...thats why you are having a hard time finding it....also, like one of the other guys said, there are a LOT of set amulets, getting an angelic to drop is tough, since you need to mull around in act 2/3 normal for one to drop the easiest

gangles, if i had a spare i'd give free. heck I got mine for free. although a lot of people like the angelic ring/ammy combo, its not that hard to collect. I think its the fact that its a low lvl item so most people dont wanna hassle themselves with finding the mule and getting it for a few pgems. thats how a low of items are in my case hehe, when people ask for like sigons shield, sure I have 3, but chances are i dont want what they have to offer and i'm too lazy to give for free, unless i'm ON that account currently.

I hear that. Trading runes and/or p.gems for items is such a pain in the *** that I'm currently making a Meteorb sorc for magic find. I swore I would never play another mf character, but yeah, what else are you gonna do?

If you have something you can spare thats great, if not oh well...I believe in karma.

I will definitely be on tonight after 9 pm pst, currently spending my time looking for dclone to walk

I think laziness plays a big part in it, they look at the trade and although IMO they are getting a heck of a deal it isn't good enough stuff to really get them ahead, so they figure why bother. I mean had some people ask for Skiller GC's for the amulet! If I had skillers I wouldn't be bothering with questing my char and hunting for items, I would level at all means necessary get to using them.

Ah well I just can't believe the market currently in season 2, I used to just drop items like this and better ones in town for the new characters(I also believe in Karma Freak).

yeah it is rarer than the ring, and anyone who has one on ladder is probably using it, and honestly, i can't be bothered to memorize trade values so if I don't have a use for what is being offered I won't trade.
Me, I used to sell these kind of items to Charsi without bothering to give away, people didn't appreciate stuff like this.
