A yellow cudgel. Not spectacular, but it was in Act 3 on normal. Granted, it was from Mephisto but I didn't know exceptionals could drop in Act 3 on normal. First time I've seen it happen anyway.

I had something very similar happen a few months ago. I was pretty chocked, too :P I think it was from council.

Few good things this morning. Gheed's Fortune unique charm(probably what I was most excited about), IK belt to go with my helmet, and Laying of Hands :)

I've been away from D2 for 3 years I think, but have a very strong urge to come back. How does this mod thing work? Is it a standalone version or do you 'project' the Mod on the game?
Are you excluded from normal bnet play and stuff? In easy words, is the original file/game 'corrupted', so that trading on here isn't allowed or you can't play bnet anymore? Thanks in advance

You just copy and replace a .mpq file, so yes, "projected" as you say it. You can't log on to normal bnet, but I hear there is a private server. I don't know how that works since I play SP myself. Normal D2 and Median are basically two different games, so no you can't trade on the forums here, unless you find another player who plays the mod too.

I don't know how many people play it online, but there are some questions in the FAQ about it.

Hello guys, after reading this, i installed the median XL, and i'm playing it, right now i have a sorc level 30 and i'm at act 2.


I have some questions cuz i am pretty lost on the game.
Is there guides for sorc's somewhere? I am leveling all skills so i can understand them, and later i would respec and choose a path. Right now i use Tempest with Mana Sweap a lot, along with nova charge(i guess it's it), fire dance and familiar.

My inventory is full of gems and runes, are those gems important?
I've done some runewords that i saw in the website, which ones do you recomend for a level 30 sorc?

Thanx, and sorry for not posting screenshots, i will do that soon probably.

Found a much needed Gimmershred off Meph on my Barb today(lvl 87 and was still using lvl 39and 45 weapons)

...then I saw it was ethereal.../facepalm
 
Just fired up D2 again this week as D3 was terrible. Playing single player this time, got my first stone of jordan drop ever from a champ skelly in stony field. Actually the first unique ring drop for me since starting fresh. Perfect for the growing javazon!

Gambled a 10/12/23 Saracen's Chance off Anya this morning :)

Also got enough runes for my weapon and armor...now I just need to spend forever looking the actual weapon and armor to use...

A wand with +2 clay golem and +1 raise skeleton in the Stony Field. Just started playing again, yeaaah!
I'm BLASTING through the game.
Fishymancer to start out, probably going to convert to Poisonmancer later on, but I like playing the game fast for now.
Played at /P8 the whole time. Was level 20 by the time I got to Andy, haha!
