yes they can IP ban you. But its not usually the first time. If you come back as Not A_S_G and they ban you again and then you come back a A_S_G in disguise then they'll IP ban you. Or so a little bird tells me.

Although, if you're half way intelligent (and I'm not saying that you're not subby, ) you'd just hit some anonymous proxy site and wish them good luck on the ip banning.

I'm not saying that anyone should do this, temp bans and bans are there for a reason, if you get banned you deserve it, take it like a man. :winner:

A little goat told me (and many others) that the powers that be have a list of well-known proxies.

Some guy tried to brag about his "1337 pr0x135" in the Strat forums and insisted on typing in all 1337 sp33k. He made several versions of his account (i.e. v1.1, v.1.11, v.1.12, etc.) and lo-and-behold, all of them got banned. Funny stuff to watch. I couldn't resist making myself a bag of popcorn and enjoying the carnage. And no, I don't have much to do during the day :drool:

EDIT: Just to clarify, he got banned for linking to hack sites.

Aragorn, I hope you appreciate all the fine modding cushiness you have. Back when I was a mod, we had to ban people in twelve feet of code, uphill both ways. We didn't have any of this thread preview stuff. No, we had to actually READ THE WRITING. The horrors! :rant:

As to Toaders Qeury about the Assasin game, I don't think the entire community would enjoy something like that going on in all threads, however I am open to anyone suggesting any sort of game for this forum, as long as it is contained to 1 to 3 threads at most.
