just let me say this... i'm not a very patient person, and i don't usually do things for other ppl, but i thought it would be nice to give something back to the ppl on this forum coz this forum has helped me a lot with d2 related stuff
but if i'm going to put in the effort, i expect the same from the ppl who ask for items off the list. of course i'm not saying all of u r just being lazy, the ppl who r putting in the effort, i really appreciate that, but when ppl come in 5 posts later (and i mean a lot later, so not 'just' missing out by a couple of minutes) asking for 20+ things where say only 2 things still remain, well...it gets a tad bit annoying because i still go through every single item just in case i have found one since then...
here's what i recommend (if u can't be bothered searching for it manually), u see something u want off my list, then just copy that text, for example, Arkaine, then just ctrl+f, paste, and see if someone has already asked for it (search the next page too if there is a next page already). if someone already has asked for it, then that item has gone to that person, and if i listed only one of that item, i only have one. if i had more, then i would've listed it...right? i only have what u see there.
i'm really really sorry about the negativity, it wrecks the thread, i know, and i don't know if anyone will listen, but i thought it had to be said.
don't worry, i'll still post my finds to give away for a while longer, as long as i'm still grailing

You are totaly right uke.
I think I can explain the asking for the same item twice thing tho. People just want to be quick, because otherwise someone else can take that item, if that person posts faster.
If that is not the reason, than people are just being realy lazy. They should think about the future too. If things don't change you will get sick of these giveaway's a don't do them anymore. That will result in no items for the poor.

I actually try to note down all the items i am interested in that has already been claimed, but the list is so long and sometimes one or two slips through anyway.
And yes, it looks very stupid to see a post containing only items that has already been claimed.

Fair enough. But even then, when they see that somebody managed to post even faster, they can still edit their post. I'm not saying that asking for an item already requested by somebody else can't happen. It always will due to human error, heck, I know it has happened to me! We just should try to keep it down, as it can be really annoying.

Uke you still have great quality items that you give away, and like some one else said, i make a list then look at the other post to see if it was taken, and hopfully i have some thing left on my list that hasen't been asked for, if it has then i just ask if you happen to have any left. thats not a porblem is it..also like huorn said about reediting your post, i have even had to do that becuase i missed a post where some one else had taken an item.

Thanks anyway, I just want to make sure that I did not contribute in any way to any frustration that led to that post above. I did check quite thoroughly about which items still remained and all. If I did, I apologize profusely! :innocent:
first of all, if you felt threatened in any way, i apologise again, maybe it came out too harsh
my previous post wasn't aimed at anyone in particular... well, i guess it is... don't get me wrong tho, most of you are just fine, i don't care if you make a mistake or two, and u bothered to edit or not, i can fix that myself
