USWest Ladder players:Official thread

Well I think I've decided to do a Skeli/Poison build. Like I said on my last post hes non-ladder. If its a problem I guess I'll make one on ladder. I got to lvl 20 with my necro last night(easiest/fastest 20 lvls I might add). They are damn fun to play with. =D

Do you guys have a channel you meet in and or any specific days you play?

@ash: no problem man. I wasn't using that stuff anyway, so I'm glad to see it on someone who'll use it! and congrats on the level too :D

There's big hype about the upped WWS, and when ladder began I made an upped WWS zon with over 400 dex, for lots of damage. Unfortunately, she still did pitiful damage compared to a good goldstrike, eagle, etc. It was really bad, she couldn't do anything in multiplayer games. Suffice to say I was sorely disappointed in the results of the upped WWS as an end-game bow.

However, it's not a bad bow, and will get you through nm just fine. It might even get you through hell, if you like to play solo. there are just far better bows out there for not too much more (let me konw if you ARE in need of a bow sometime ash, I can hook you up. just ask hos :) )

doubt I'll need to bum a bow, just wondering if people like this bow, if I could deal it off for something useful like ravenfrost or fleshrender or some other decent sword, I picked up the bow when I was trying to pick up unique tusk sword off meph, curses, that would've been more helpful, but this is still nice

I am on ladder, and when ladder ends, yes we'll have to duel. But don't think I'm gonna let you off easy ;)

and I still believe that sorcs are best for cheap mfing, but skellimancers are just fine as well.the only thing sorcs have over other caster classes is tele (which is why I said "cheap" mfing, because an enigma Hammerdin can usually mf more effectively). but if you don't mind walking to your destination, I"d say go for it!

P.S. Ash do you have a ravenfrost yet? I probably have an extra I can give you, if you don't. Bug me about it next time you see me online, because i tend to be very forgetful about... well about everything! :)

btw, I helped the crappiest necro kill duriel in NM, he was naked except for a wand and he just spammed PN repeatedly without using curses or summons, eventually when I mentioned this to him he would cast lvl1 decrepify every 30 seconds...

We do have somewaht of an official channel:

op fotnf (freinds of the necro forum)

But with the new 'lobby' system, whereas after you exit each game you are placed in the nearly useless lobby, a channel without a Bot does not serve much of a purpose...

We all just rely on the /m and /f m commands to communicate most of the time. Also, since we can see what games we are in on our freinds list we can usually just join in an active players game. Passwords are pretty much the same most of the time and if you get around to playing with any of us you'll learn that quick.

The most active times to play are the evenings and most of our primary characters are on ladder. The search for good upgrades and runes keep me solidly on ladder when I play...

But ya I second the invite Erubus. (that's that Black and white comic right?) I hope you now feel thoroughly informed. Maybe I'll join up with your poison/skele mancer before too long.:)

Gvandale has written a short Poison/skeleman guide you might want to check out...it's link is posted in our stickied thread at the top of the board. :drink:
 
Hey BB thanx for looking for those items for me :howdy: but now I got my Vitamancer nearly fully equiped just need a better anni charm and some + pnb skill charms and he shall be heading off in the right direction. Oh right I nearly forgot I need a spiderweb sash. :scratch:

And Fatty heh when ladder ticks off you won't have to go easy on me, I'm sure I should be a good enough challenge.

P.S. Heh I want a darkforce spawn soooooo badly..... if anyone is kind enough to save me one for when ladder ticks over that would be super nice.
 
Hi I'm newer to this forum and but not new to diablo 2. I just came back from my 1 year break from diablo 2 and decided to play 1.10 since it fixed all the stuff I didn't like.

If anyone wants to play I have 2 characters, a level 63 Necro on NM US West Ladder and a level 24 HC Paladin on US West Ladder.

My account is *CommunistUSA feel free to message me if you want to do some runs or something or quest in hell or play on HC.

I haven't been playing D2 no where near as much as I should for the past week bucause of my new addition to my games called Unreal Tournament 2004, just can't get enough of this game. It's so much better then UT2k3. A good game indeed.

Anyways I really can't wait for ladder to tick ova so I can kick some of u ladder players ***'s

Well today I scored a darkforce spawn and prayed for a +3 pnb and got a +1 with both other mods being +3. I put it on the trade forums for anyone who wants to trade a +3 pnb for my one. Hrmmmm I doubt anyone will trade for it :hanky:

Also so fatty when ladder ticks over its me n u, is the challenge still on?

So where is all the westers its all dead no good, no good :cheesy:
