upgrading question

say u found a nice ETH crystal sword, u upgrade it to a dimensional blade and then to a phase blade, but I am wondering since phase blades cant spawn ETH how would this work? could I even upgrade it again after a dimensional blade? or could I have a ETH phase blade??

Keep in mind that normal weapons can't be upgraded, so it would have to be a rare crystal sword or the unique ginther's rift, which isn't really worth upgrading, although it DOES have a repair mod.

of corse its rare, sorry i forgot to mention that, i already knew u cant upgrade normal weapons, and another thing i wouldnt have to put a zod in it would i?, it would be eth, but phase blades have no durability
