Uber Baal returning damage dealt?

I'm having issues with Uber Baal on my untwinked 99er lightning fury amazon. For some reason, every time I attack Uber Baal with charged strike, he's dealing 300-400 damage back to me. I have WAY more life than mana, so I know this is not due to a blood mana curse. If I switch to jab, this does not happen. I have also seen "returned damage" dealt to me when using lightning fury when close to melee range. Has anyone else seen this kind of behavior? I'm super frustrated having wasted 7 sets of organs and can't find any information on why this could be happening. I'll need to spend a couple of days re-farming keys AND full rejuv potions, and then I can also try to capture video of this behavior.

Could it be because of Chilling Armor procs? proc deals 235 cold damage. If you have 75% res, its 58 damage. You probably have Raven Frost, thats 35dmg after absorb. 12 bolts x 35dmg is 420 damage like you said

That seems most likely. I was running with Raven Frost and 75% cold resist. Maybe I'll have to just try an OW+CB jab/impale setup.

Yep, that is definitely the source of the damage.

• In the Pandemonium Event, Izual casts level 27 Chilling Armor, while Baal casts level 37 Chilling Armor. Amazon using Charged Strike or Sorceress using Charged Bolt should be aware that every collision with their bolts will trigger a corresponding Chilling Armor bolt.
