Towndump Ubers Help

I remember I started my MFing (Magic Find not Mother....hahaha) Necro and now that this is being nearly completed, I wanted to run Ubers with my Big Bear. I have the following equipment on my bear and the following stats are with Dark Clan Crusher (replacing that with HOTO soon) and the equipment.

Stats
Defense: 2873
AR: 4337
Attack Damage: 2121-3551
Life: 3407
Cold Resist: 151
Lightning Resist: 151
Fire Resist: 148
Poison Resist: 175

Equipment:
IK Maul (39ED/15IAS, 25CR/-15 Req)
Guillame's Face (11 resist)
Highlords
CoH
IK Belt and Boots
Carrion Wind/Raven Frost
Dracs
Jalal's and IK Gloves in stash
18/17 Torch
15/14 Anni

Charms:
1 Max Dmg, 13 resist GC
D. Summoning 3 Str GC
D. Summoning 34 Life GC
SS GC
4 FHR SCs
2 x 19 Life SCs
18 Life 6 CR SC

Merc Equipment:
Reaper's Toll
Fort
Gaze

Here are my questions. First of all, I was thinking about putting my 3os Tomb Reaver onto my merc and using that. I'm not sure what to socket it with. Maybe more CB? Also, I think my resists are decent enough so what do I do for the remaining charms? Any other ideas on what I should do to make my druid Ubers ready? Thanks in advance!

You're resist is terrible for Ubers. Meph's Conviction lowers by 125 so only your poison resist will be above 30 You need to stack at least 300 to ensure safety.

If you decide to use Reaver Shael/Shael/Ber or Shael/Ber/Ber will probably be your best bet. You're going to need CB to get anything done in Ubers.

As for other preparations, well, stock up on AR/Res charms and try to get that rating higher. You won't be hitting a lot with 4k AR. Also, what level is your Druid?

Wow...Meph's Convicition is strong. I thought it was 150 but maybe that's just regular conviction and not Meph's. I was thinking Ber/Ber/Shael for the Reaver because CB is going to be key. Do you think I should use Guillame's Face instead of Gaze to get the CB at 75? Also, how much AR do you think I'll need to hit often. My druid is level 87. Do you think I'll need to resocket my gear or can I just fix all that with charms?

You definitely aren't ready yet, but you can get there.

AR Problem - My goodness you need help here, you need 10K+, preferably 13K+
* Charms, charms, charms - load up on 25+/105+ life/AR GCs and lose the summon GCs too
* Swap in a nice rare ring with 100+ AR for the Carrion Wind
* Get a Ravenfrost with better AR? Depends on what you've got.
* Metalgrid in place of Highlord's will also help a lot

Resist Problem - Bad, but an easy fix
* Use the Tomb reaver socketed as suggested by Verashiden
* Prebuff using Treachery Armor +60 all resists (the 15% DR doesn't hurt either)
* Add a few cold and lightning or all resist small charms

Other Stuff
* Use Switch/Swap gear for SS pre-buff
* A 39ED/15IAS in an IK Maul!!! Are you kidding me?
* Your merc will not survive, don't plan on his company in Uber Trist

Great advice guys. I don't have much to add except you're not getting the speed you'll need with your sockets in the Maul and as Bjam says OMG...that beautiful jewel in an IK Maul. Try getting another IK maul with 40 CB and socket 2xShael.
Maybe try using an angelic amulet/ring set for the AR however, I'm a big fan of Metalgrid too.

As for charms, should I get more SS or just stock up on AR/Life GCs? I think I'll do another Raven Frost instead of the 100+ AR Rare Ring you suggested. More AR I think. I had a Metalgrid but I guess I'll have to get it again. As for pre-buffing Treachery, what does that mean? I heard about it all the time but never knew what that meant. Can you further explain that? Can't do anything bout what I did with the 39/15 IAS. Do you suggest me trading away the IK Maul I have now or should I just unsocket it using Hel and just put the Shaels in? I am planning to use HOTO + Spirit for SS pre-buff. Thanks for the help guys!

the Treachery prebuff refers to the runeword (Shael/Thul/Lem, not bad) armor Treachery's chance to cast lvl 15 Fade when struck which well pump up your resists quite a bit. You just toss that on and go to a more friendly zone and wait for it to proc the Fade before venturing into Trist and it you'll definitely want it to be proc'd for Uber Mephisto so don't be shy about dipping out and re-procing it.

What should I do with my current IK maul? Make it clean or should I try trading it away? Sorry guys...when it comes to Ubers and all those keys stuff...someone has to hold my hand and walk me through it. ;)

Hiya AsianChexMix,
I'd get another IK Maul because they are so cheap. Aim for one with 40% crushing blow. Socket the new one with 2 Shael runes.
I can't tell you what to do with the old one, you'll have to decide that. Perhaps a Necromancer Summoner would give you some decent trade value to make into an Iron Golem.
