A grail means collecting at least one of every set and unique item in the game.
Crystal swords do sell for more than most weapons. Around 1000 if it's plain, and if it has a valuable mod (leech, cold damage, etc) they will sell for around 3000, which makes them about as valuable as medium level armors.
Helms and (especially) Full Helms also sell for a sizable amount at that point in the game. Magical Krises are worth identifying for decent mods as well.

Throwing knives, though, that I never thought of. Also, are there any more weird outliers like Crystal Swords? (which seem to be a lot more valuable than any other swords that drop around now...then again, they are 6 spaces.)
