Did you have to put my name right next to Bad Ash's? Was that really necessary?

Bad Ash is Noodle.

or Bad Ash and his trusty sidekick, Noodle!

Ash Man and the Noodle Wonder.

Omg, are diskettes those HUGE-*** flopply disk things that are about the size of a vinyl record?

Not quite. You must be thinking about the 8" diskettes, but those had fallen out of use by the time I was born. I remember using the smaller 5 1/4" diskettes though, but not on the Macintosh, which used 3 1/2" rigid diskettes from the start.

Speaking of antiques, the very oldest computer data storage system I've ever held in my hands was a case of unused punch cards from the 70's. For some unknown reason it was found in one of our closets, and promptly disposed of. I like keeping old stuff, but got to draw the line somewhere I guess.

the first computer my cousin let himself get talked into using was a Tandy from Radio Shack. it was around the time when the Commodore 64 was out. I remember the big 8" diskettes too... and the punch cards.

GG reel tape!

Re: The Vanilla (Ice) mafia round -Sign ups-

Since there isn't an age restriction on this board (and because of mara :p) I will not ask for proof on that leo.

Anyway, the oldest comp I used was a 4.86 with windows 3.10. God prince of Persia was a difficult game...

Re: The Vanilla (Ice) mafia round -Sign ups-

dial-up was such a pain in my arse. -.- my family had that up until a few years ago because where i used to live at the time, dial-up was the only choice. it took about an hour for a youtube video to load up. ooooyyyy.....

even if you were to ask for proof, Wiki, i am sure it would be considered "pornographic" and Gorny would have that big banstick on my arse faster than we can say "perm ban". so, no. :) hehehehe!

Bad Ash is Noodle.

Hm? Somehow I remember you having a secret identity on the forums. Kinda like Batman and Bruce Wayne? You once went so far as to stage a confrontation with him, but oddly the alter ego was immune to the ban stick.

I wonder... if Bad Ash were Noodle, which would be the hero and which the secret identity?

GG reel tape!

When it comes to music, I dare say I've got the oldest storage media here. I'm the archivist of my orchestra, and I keep the oldest recordings at home. The very oldest is a one-of-a-kind gramophone record dated to 1937. Even better, I have access to a player I repaired to actually play it.

Re: The Vanilla (Ice) mafia round -Sign ups-

He has the word "bad" literally in his name . . . is it really THAT difficult to figure out?
