EDIT: Project complete! Results post here.

After my recent stint in Lower Kurast, I had more runes up to Ber than I could practically use. I spent some time farming an Annihulus and torches for each class. I was debating heading for Travincal, but while Jahs would be nice for luxury runewords like Dual Dream, Last Wish, etc., I find that the main area where I’m lacking is useful mid to high-end sets and uniques: still no Griffon’s Eye, Death’s Fathom, Death’s Web, Mara’s, Stormlash, and Ethereal Reaper’s Toll, just to name a few. Furthermore, though I was able to squeak out a Pindle category win in the recent MFO, I missed my personal goal of 10,000 runs, only hitting ~7700 because life got busy. All that to say, I’ve decided to return to Pindle, and will post updates, finds, etc., in this thread to keep myself motivated.
I’m going to be using a classic Berserker Barbarian. Feel free to give input on gear/skills, though I think this is relatively straightforward.
Final relevant stats: 94% chance to hit Pindle with 604% MF on kill and 454% MF on switch and 72% Find Item.
Just for the fun of it, I’ll also score my runs according to the MFO rules just to see how I fare vs. my last stint in Pindleland. Here goes nothing!

Amulet: Highlord’s Wrath
Helm: Harlequin Crest (Perfect Topaz)*
Weapon: “Grief” Phaseblade +370 / 40 IAS
Weapon 2: 6 “Ist” Phaseblade
Switch 1: “Heart of the Oak” Flail**
Switch 2: Wizardspike “Ist”
Body Armor: “Enigma” Mage Plate
Gloves: Ghoulhide***
Ring 1: 30% Nagelring
Ring 2: 30% Nagelring
Belt: Arachnid Mesh (105% FCR)
Boots: War Travelers (44% MF)
Inventory: 38% Gheed's, Torch, Anni, AR/Damage charms, and maybe some resists if I need them.
* I’m too cheap to put an Ist in this, don’t feel I need CBF quite yet just for Pindle, though I do have a Cham that can go in this for Pit runs someday. If I feel I need CBF I could always go with Trang’s setup for the short term.
** Per @ffs amazing Build Efficiency Guide, I am going with HotO. I also have an Ist-ed Suicide Branch in the stash: it adds MF, but removes + skills. I’m assuming with all the testing, HotO is the way to go.
*** I chose these over Chance Guards as AR will likely be an issue. It would take 30 perfect Steel SCs to give me the +720 AR these give, while it would only take a handful 7% MF SCs to make up for the MF of perfect 40% Chance Guards.

In D2R, skill point distribution is less strained for the Berserker. I decided to go with the following:
-1 Point into all the usual pre-reqs and 1 pointers
-20 Points Berserk
-20 Points Blade Mastery
-20 Points Battle Orders
-20 Points Find Potion
-Remaining points to Find Item.
I could have put points into Howl but kill speed is pretty good so increasing Find Item will probably have a bigger effect in the long run.
