Jiasonz......really? I've always detested the Maggot Lair immensely with my Necros. Not sure about you, but I always have a hard time getting the merc to go where I want. And, if a summoner, all the skellies get in his way, and they'r so much slower killers. I sometimes take a nap there:smiley: .

agreed with the merc not going where you want, but don't bother with the skellies while you're in the lair. As you pointed out they just get in the way anyway!

Ravenous was quick through Meph and on to the City WP. Of the variety of chars in this tourney he is one I would consider building just for fun. I'm keeping him for a little bit though, since SkaMan has lots of characters to play already :smiley: I'll do a few Meph runs. (Actually, I already have done a few and I'll do a few more :grin: So far I have found a stealskull, a thundergod's vigor and a Pierre Tombale Couant... can't complain at that, though I'm going to be making more decisions on what to keep...)

Not sure about you, but I always have a hard time getting the merc to go where I want.

Not me. There are basically three main ways I use to get him where I want.

1. Move in front of him. When I encounter monsters, pull back and move past him.

2. If he doesn´t follow me, I can lure the monsters to him instead. I do this until the next part of the hallway is empty and I can move a little further along. That usually helps to get him to follow.

3. Switch to walking and "nudge" him (move really close, wait for him to move away from me, take another step, etc.) around the corner so he and the monster see each other.

Yeah, I've done all these things. It's just too frustrating and slow for my liking.

I even burn up tons of town portals, just to get my merc, or gang, where I want them. Not to mention, I put my Necros in some scary situations, running into rooms, to cast a TP, to get rid of the bottlenecks.

I got lucky, I guess. Dude the Druid ruled the Maggot Lair!

As expected, Abarr was not so much fun for me. His skill mix wasn't awful, but I'm just not very good with warcries. As a result he had about three NDEs during my reign. However he made it through alive, and I'm not about to do any Duriel runs!

I'll strip him naked and send him into the jungle.

My last char was Nunu, received 4th of June at 8:09:27 PM (GMT+1)

Last time I tried to report a major delay as well, but you thought it was still within the time allowed by the rules, even though it took two weeks plus. This time though, it takes almost three weeks. I'm not saying Bloodfire should be disqualified, but maybe he must be warned or something. People are getting more then half a difficulty ahead of me :undecided:

Got to agree about playing these characters. I mean, heck, you can get through some of these areas so fast, if you really need/want to rush it, this should be no problem. Overall, we were doing good though, so I hope we get back there.

Pastyface should not be send to Freekje as he is my current charakter and if I'm not mistaken Nunu has already been passed on to Billyb.
