i think you misunderstood me crazyC :) . i want to know what the power on each items does. is it used to determined your dmg?, chance to hit? you know the usual d2 related stuff.
Heh, sorry about that pesot. Well, I am not totally sure about power. I had the same weapon on my accordian thief and turtle tamer, and while my turtle tamer could do a fair amount of dmg, and often kill things in one hit with it, my accordian thief with less muscle did a heck of a lot less dmg.

So I am not exactly sure what it does, but I just sort of associated power with more dmg on weapons/defense on armor.

i can clarify you on that crazyC. from what i've learn so far, muscles are use to determine your dmg(STR) and chance to hit(AR). while moxies are used for chances for not being hit(DEF). a turtle tamer is a muscle based char, so he'll do more dmg with weaps. an accordian thief is a moxie based char, so although he'll be doing less dmg, he'll have better chance to avoid being hit.

so now, how do you put power into the equation?

edit: a little mistake.

i think a turtle tamer with advance meatsmithing can smith all the armour. chrome, asbestos and the likes.
what does armor entail then? just pants and shirts? I take it that the various kinds of meat stacks (asbestos, chrome, etc), have to be smithed by another type before I can use them?

also, where the frill do I find a set of rims????

I believe you can find asbestos ore and other such things, and then once you make basic armor and such, you smith that basic stuff with different items. I will try it out later

And I bought my rims from the mall :p I was getting tired of looking

rims can be traded for at the old hermits place, you need a worthless trinket or other "worthless" item to trade for though.

Does anyone know the difference between the Disco Bandit and Accordion Thief is so far as their "crafting" skills go? You know, like how the Seal Clubber smiths weapons and the Turtle Tamer smiths pants?

OK people, i have gone through, and given everyone the promotions in the clan that they have earned.

If i've missed anyone, and they feel they deserve a promotion let me know and i'll fix it.

One point though, i've changed the lowest rank from having donated 100 meat, to 750 clan karma, the 100 meat was too difficult to check.

PastaBowl the lvl 4 Pastamancer wishes to join the SPF clan.

A quick question, what is the difference between meat paste, stacks, and dense stacks?

Alien: Meat Paste is used to combine items (remember the Toot Oriole quests?). Meat Stacks are used for various things (they can be used to fill up an Empty Meat Tank, for instance), and Dense Meat Stacks are used in Meatsmithing. I think (too lazy to fiddle around with Meatsmithing...)

Well I've used my newly appointed authoritah to accept Johunn and PastaBowl into the clan. There are 2 other applicants waiting for approval, EC the Adulterer and HunterX. Whose characters are these?

HunterX is my PVP character :) You is a victim!

BTW, what the hell is the deal with the rats? I tried feeding them diseased cheese, dressing up like a rat, and throwing catsup at them. None of it works and frankly I am at a loss.

Do you mean the rats in the tavern? Just go in there and fight them. You don't need a special weapon, you just need enough stats to defeat them in battle. After you collect enough whiskers the bartender will talk to you.

EC the adulterer is one of mine, but I'll deny him myself. I plan to build my own clan of my own characters eventually, save for ElCommunisto the accordian thief, who will continue to reside in the SPF clan. :)

In other news, has the KoL site been extremely slow/unresponsive for anyone else lately? I haven't been able to sucessfully log on in a couple days now.

it has been a little slow but i can usually get on, might have to logout and login again sometimes but i can usually make it through both of my characters adventures and making stuff and all the other stuff i do in less than 1 hour.

i generally try to avoid the times around midnite est when everyone and their brothe and their cousins try to logon so they can use the new days adventures.

I used to play at around that same time Durf, but since I quit my job I'm awake during "normal" hours when everyone else is on. Oh well. back to D2. :D
