The Official KoL Thread

Just get a worthless knick knack from the sewer and a hermit permit, then travel to the hermitage to get one from the hermit. Sweet rims for you.

Is there anyplace you can get a recipe guide? I have tried to combine a few things for the heck of it to see what happens, and nothing works out. I'd rather just know what my items can combine with.

If you'd rather explore this game on your own and not learn about what everything does, don't click that link. It's a site that gives rundowns of what all the items do and what recipes they are used in.

There are other guides out there that walk you through the adventures in the game, but I'll leave you in the capable hands of Google for them. :)

Just wondering what´s going on with the clan ranking system. What does it take to become superior sash and above?

Look back through this thread, there is the clan ranking system in there (page 3 IIRC).

If you meet the criteria and haven't been moved up the ranks, i appologise. I have been a bit busy of late, and haven't put any promotions through. I'll see if i can get to it tonight.

Sorry, didn´t see that one. Got the promotion to demonhide sash. Woohoo.

Don´t worry about it. We all have RL to take care of too. ;)

Just on question. In the clan room my karma now says; exempt from karma or something like that. What does that mean?

BeatMaster: Exempt from Karma means that it costs no Karma to remove items from the Stash... I think.

I've applied with a new character, MightyInstrument - took a while to register so I had a lot of turns to catch up :)

Heh, figured that much. The problem is that I also don´t GAIN clan karma after dumbing stuff into the stash. Haven´t contributed any meat lately, as that would be a waste if there is no gain unless we actually buy something.

If you're exempt form karma, one thing you should do is go into the stash and start taking out all the crap we don't need--the 85 hobo gloves, the 115 cogs, and so on. Sell all of those and make a pile of money.

The money can go back into the stash in the form of dense meat stacks, or can stay in your possession. It probably shouldn't go back into the stash in the form of money. Once we get all the goods we need (gym equipment, calendar, meat tree) the only thing to spend that on is stuff in the war room, which opens us up to attack form other clans, or on treats for all clan members. I think the clan leader can buy beer and other goodies for everyone.

There area a few people that are now exempt from clan karma, i would do a spring clean of the clan stash, but i simply do not have the time.

I can indeed buy stuff for the clan members, the only problem is, what does everyone want. As there are things that boost muscle, mysticality, and moxie, and i know different groups use different items.

I was thinking about buying stuff for the clan, but i really didn't know what to buy. If anyone has any ideas, then please let me know, and i'll put them up for poll.

What sort of things are purchasable? How much do they cost? Everyone likes food, and I guess cans of beer would be something to hand out to people; I don't know if you can get more powerful treats for all members at a reasonable price, though.

We do need to keep 50,000 meat in there to ensure that we all get our daily interest payments. :)

Hi all.

Took Durf´s advice and took a whole bunch of excess stuff from the stash and sold it. I then donated the meat to the clan coffers. 20000 to be exact.
