The Official KoL Thread

Oh. Well then! :p

PS: Upon reaching level 8, I received a pleasant surprise. The level 8 title for Disco Bandits is "Jam Horker". I thought it was terribly appropriate for our clan :)

Any class can do any of those things.
Not really, and I blame you for it. :p For example, my disco bandit cannot smith chrome items or asbestos items--the high-level weapons are limited to the smithing capabilities of the seal clubber. High level pants need to be smithed by one of the turtle tamers. Pastamancers are the only ones that can use noodles for the high-level noodle recipes. Saucerors can use scrumptious reagents for sauces. I'm not exactly sure the difference between the cocktail craftings of the accordion thief and disco bandit. I can use tiny umbrellas with my disco bandit, but i'm not sure if anyone else can.

edit: other classes can use tiny umbrellas with cocktails. i'll try and dig up the difference.

As usual i've got some requests from people to join our clan, but again i don't know who they are, anyone want to claim them:

Talking Donkey
PastaPower

wow...i can make really neat pants? the joys of turtle taming that i didn't know about (well, I'm only lvl 3).

me and fiddler the 4 lb. mosquito are currently trying to figure out what the heck we're doing. So far I've got some adventure from a bad artist to find stuff- do you just go into the knoll or the haunted pantry and kill things until they turn up (brush and paint). also- degrassi knoll (is that a take of 'the grassy' or making fun of the canadian-shown-on-PBS series 'degrassi jr. high'?)- where the heck do i find that?

oh, is there a good place to find food as well? i roll through my adventures pretty quick and would like to find food to add to them...

cheers all.

Hi folks,

I joined KOL under the name sammas (surprise surprise) and asked for membership in the SPF clan.

Regards

Sammas

Pastapower would be me,
I wanted to post if I could join earlier but Rpgforums doesn't take hotmail accounts anymore :cheesy:
So I made a new email, i think i will use it for forums and stuff.

Ok, I am told I need to get a screw driver left at Degrassi Knoll. I can find no Degrassi Knoll anywhere. Can someone PM me with a hint before tonight when new adventures kick in? Thanks

It'll either get unlocked from levelling up or from another (different) quest being given. I'm level 3 and I haven't seen it yet, so I'd guess you have to be a bit higher level, perhaps...

Go to town then hit the council of loathing. They generously slap on a bunch of points on the map. This is the same way you may get quests.

oh wow...i just got my backside handed to me by a drunke rat, and then by something on dgrassi knoll...(found it at lvl 4, btw). ouch...beaten up twice in a row.....

Stile58 the seal clubber guy is still stuck at level 3. I can't seem to get enough strength points. Does working out in the clan gym help??

Also donated some meat and items to the clan stash.

Yea I too wanted to know if the clan gym ups good, because I want more moxie for dodge, I spent 1 adv. there, but if I spend 40 on it, will it get me alot of moxie?
And somehow I can't acces the meat tree, anybody know why?

P.s: can I take the can lids for the gourd tower quest?

regards,
blood

Working out at the gym gives you at least 1pt in the chosen stat per adventure, sometimes more. Of course it would be a little silly to expend all your adventures in the one shot...

Not sure why you can't access the clan stash though
