The Official Ex-RuST SCL "Journey to Hell" Group Thread

Over two weeks and no updates. Is anyone even still playing?

If not, then we'll consider West dead, and also consider starting East - if there's anyone left who wants to play after all this on West. That means we'll need a sound-off for those who are still interested and have an idea of what they want to do in the JoTH.

If anyone is still playing on West I want to finish it quickly.
 
Since its untwinked and all, I would love to do a East JoTH.
Im new and i think it would be a good way to make an introduction to the
community.
 
I'm rapidly approaching the point where I need another 2-3 month break. Everything I have right now is being poured into making one extremely expensive build, though I confess even that is slowing down. I may still be inconsistently alive until April 28, at which point Guild Wars releases, and it looks mighty sexy. Anyway, all this means that I'm probably not up for an East journey, though I was the main instigator for the so-called 'power group.' I shall finish West if you guys really want, but I'm afraid that holds little interest for me in my late hoarding tendencies.

Hi guys. Sorry to disappear on you all, I have been without an internet connection at all for a few weeks (didn't pay the bill...) and I'm still being stuffed around with my CDD. Anyway, just checking in to see how things are going...or not going as it seems. Hope East works out better.
 
As far as I can see, there will be no USEast JoTH

Not only is there not eight for any one group-type, but half of those still here I'm not even familiar with. I have yet to hear from any but - now - two people in the USWest JoTH, and neither are capable or willing to finish that.

The two people that I was sponsoring into the USEast JoTH don't appear to be ready to participate, either. One is working constantly and hasn't gotten enough time off to Baal his summoner to 97, let alone start an entirely new build. The other has been on a grand total of once in the past two weeks, and then was watching movies while perming a mule - never telling us he was logging off.

Unless something drastically changes, East is as dead as West and I won't be keeping this character at level one for more than another week. If there is even a small chance to start it you people better get it going by next Friday or I'm going to play DoubleHealix with others. I'm tired of this game and tired of wasting two to three hours doing minor inventory work on a single account to avoid this Realm Down bull****.

I miss D2. I have formatted and need USB drivers to get internet, and internet to get USB drivers. I'll make sure it is definately fixed by the time LS3 starts (if ever); at which time i am expecting to see most of you back to get some lvl99 chars.

I think most of us are gone. Guild Wars out today, but lucky me, in the middle of nowhere, can't get a copy until Tuesday. Anyway, I refreshed yer journeying amazon, and I'm sure anyone that's still left would do the same for your main accounts if you're worried about deletion. I wouldn't count on me, though. Not checking back here very much.
 
I recognize that I am bumping an old post, but not without reason. The entire journey to hell thing was set up as preparation for a more concentrated effort towards finding new runewords should a search be forced like it was in 1.10.

If new runewords are told to be existing, and their pernumerations are not released (hehe, remember all that "pernumeration" stuff?), should we start organizing a new-runeword search team, 1.11, and should the JotH group reform?

I think we can safely let this thread die, but I wouldn't mind resurrecting the original RUneword Search Thread. It's probably the largest non-off topic thread this forum ever saw up to that point. Have to wait until it's official, though, and any new JoTHs or such would have to be set up in the Player Match-up forum instead of here.

Again, as I've said in other threads, if the patch and ladder hit in twelve hours I'm out of D2 online for good. I'm not upgrading gear right now because I have characters I want to use it before doing so and Blizzard haasn't warned anyone that tomorrow's maintenance is anything but only that.
