Guys, next time you feel like: "Phah, I don't need to check a runeword website I am no noob, I know the runewords perfectly", you can as well give the runes to me. I will return half of them back and we'll be both happy ;-)

Anyway, here is my guide on socketing for chicken[excrement]s like me:
1) found/trade long desired runes,
2) check the website,
3) empty your inventory of all runes and put the socketable item in,
4) check the website,
5) place the runes in your inventory, far from the socketable item, place them up to down in the order you will socket them,
6) recheck the order on a website, imagine how you are putting runes inside, close your eyes and think about all the variables you want to be good,
7) Place a rune, check the website, place a rune, check the website,etc.,
8) Look at those poor variables..

Well I guess the post fits in the thread of stupid things pretty well after all ^^

That's what I do... And I always end up looking at those poor variables... ;D

If I recall correctly I traded 6 SoJs to get ONE Jah and 5 SoJs for a Ber.

I think that sounds very LOW, considering how unbelivable hard those runes are to find (at least the Jah). Sure, the unique rings are heavily weighted against the SoJ, but the qlvl is only 40 so every mlvl 40+ monster at least has a chance to drop it. I´ve found three of them, and I have never seen a rune above Vex.
