if thats the case then why post crap like above? sounds like you just change any story to fit yourself as you are quite clearly arguing the issue of them being bugged or not and whether its display or not.
Just leave it at they are bugged and dont try and twist things.
 
Stun works on anything that can be interrupted. IE, fury, maul, fc, berserk. It's best use is anti druid, but it does have another use. Casters. They can be interrupted as well.

I'm on east.
 
they are bugged, but the bug IS NOT A BIG DEAL on the ed/min jewels, only on the ed/max. I never contested that they weren't bugged, only said that they work just fine - which they do, even if not quite the same as they did in 09.
 
Spelling is optional with me ;) haha.

To answer your question, I prefer the shael for the block rate. Cheap, and effective. You gain some life by using a req jewel, but I still say just go for a shael.

even 12k life goes fast in a melee duel if you arent blocking the attacks that are thrown your way.
 
I notice he suggests using the griz weapon, is that only feasible for the mauling bear in pvp? What about the furying druid or bear in pvm?

p.s, Ive noticed that my ss gcs do not do ne thing for the added damage for my bear or my wolf. Are the damages hidden like in a fortitude (I think) or are they likely not worth it for a mauling or furying build?

Lastly a very important note, is it true that you can upgrade ethereal non socketed body armor? Is that the only armor that you can upgrade like this, excluding helms, armor that has already been socketed, and non ethereal armor?

I would appreciate ne input or knowledge you guys have...

Yeah, the Gris Caddy is pretty easily the best weapon for PvP. Zabo does give a few other weapons that work as far as speed, but the damage on them is pretty pathetic. As Zabo explains, SS GCs are really not worth it for this build--the effect of +skills on most shapers is fairly negligible. You usually see Fury Wolves using 9 SS GCs: this is because +skills matters quite a bit for Rabies. Besides maybe Fireclaws, bears have no similar skill that benefits from +skills more than from damage/AR charms.

As for my own questions:
I'm planning on building one of these for melee PvP; for the most part I'll be staying away from casters. I'll be laying out my skills like Zabo, only I'll probably not max Oak Sage and use only HoW. I feel like I'm going to need the AR. Since I have extra skill points, I'll probably spend 3 to get Hunger (with some slight gear modification, 4-5 frame Hunger KILLS in PvM) and stick the rest in Shockwave, unless I get any better ideas. How's that sound? As far as gear, I'm planning on using:
Guillaume's Face
Fortitude
Gris Caddy (3x 40/15 1x Shael)
Stormshield (Shael)
Verdungo's
Bloodfists
Gore Riders
Anni/Torch

As you can see, I've gotten all of it pinned down except the Jewelry and the Guillaume's Face socket. The most obvious option is probably Highlord's, Raven Frost, Dual Stat ring, 40% ed/7 FHR helm. This gives CBF (necessary), good DS, good stats, and 86% FHR breakpoint with 1 GC. Good. However, I'm concerned about AR, especially because I'm going to have a very difficult time getting decent charms and these are going to be almost all melee duels...I need to get through very high defenses. If I were to use Angelic's, I could either do Angelic Ammy, Angelic Ring, Raven Frost, 40/7 helm, or I could do Angelic Ammy, 2x Angelic Ring, Chamed helm. The +life bonuses I gain (+115) probably more than make up for the stats lost, and I should gain a ton of extra AR. One additional FHR SC is also required.

Can I get some advice on what to use here? The 3 options seem to be Highlord's with Raven Frost and Dual Stat ring (40/7 jewel), Angelic's (1 ring) with Raven Frost (40/7 jewel), and Angelic's (2 rings) with Cham. I know the Deadly Strike on Highlord's is great, but I do have 15% more DS through other gear than Zabo's main setup (Guillaume's Face). The way I see it, what use is the DS if I can't land the hits? Can I get some opinions on what I should be using for melee duels? (remember, HoW is main spirit). Thanks.

Actually the reason fury wolves can use this is because the ed from ss gc's can actually work just as well as max/ar/life sc's or gc's since wolves are able to use weapons that do good damage at a good speed ... wb's tend to have to use weapons thats damage is low ... therefore the ed from getting a higher lvl maul doesnt help as much using a caddy as it would say using a ebotdz.

I think you will find angelics just doesnt cut it ... that ds is almost necessary since your damage is dirt low. I have built 2-3 maulers assuming the use of angelics and i just couldnt get the damage output on it ... if you've tried this ... lmk how you ended up ... b/c i just couldnt get it to work.
 
What about 45/120 helmets? I havent seen a mention about those. I dunno I'm working on a werebear right now for PvM, and he's gonna be using EBotDZ one way or the other lol. Maybe I'll use that IK glove/boot trick.
