Hell Baal tonight, first guardian I hope.

I had the priviledge last night of meeting the Pope, who popped on right before I was getting off, and came into the game because Mark was there. Very nice chap, I must say, and it was nice to meet (far as I am aware) one of the first. It is easy to see why the Isle is still here after all this time. Now if I could just run into this Pat fellow I keep hearing about. There have been unconfirmed, but reliable, sightings of him on bnet. :)

I would definately be up for a living off the land throw back run through the game Mike, hopefully some others might be interested too.

Sry havnt checked back in a while, i will tell you every thing i know atm about WoW on the topic of release(i check every day and read the forums as much as i used to on these even though i cant post)
Ok, what they are planning on doing at the time is having what they are calling forced servers. Wich meens that, if your in korea you have to play on korean servers, if in asia/europ have to play on there respective servers, us plays on us servers. They say this will only be temporary. So kar, unless you have a relative in the us that will use there credit card/adress and then just send you the bill you cant play on us servers for a while. :( As for release dates, yeah its pretty much on schedual for novermber some time(most stores have it as the 16 even have the cool posters and such) this release will be for canada/us and korea and i think ive heard australia(wich is new, dont know much about this yet). With European and asia release coming around christmas/early 05. I dont like this forced server idea, as do many of the other beta testers(well what i read anyways) it will tear apart many guilds, and friends in our case. But i guess only time will tell. The open beta is right around the corner. They have anouced sign ups(wich they said would be in the next few days about 10 days ago :() but they have also said that there will be a couple more patched before hand, there has been one since the anouncement, and there is another one schedualed in the next week or so that is supposed to be big and add the remaining talents(pallys and hunters) and tweak alot of areas/things. I am glad to see some of you interested in wow, wouldnt be the same with out you guys there. Now if only i could get those GW refuges to come down the right path everything would be great. :D

p.s if you cant tell ive been following wow heavily for the past year, and know as much as anyone that doesnt have beta....*sigh*:rant:

Well it's over for the Yankees... even though I'm not a baseball or even a sports fan... I was rooting for the Yankees, b/c they are the home team...

Big props to the Red Sox, for coming back from a 3-0 deficit, to become the ALCS Champs...

For those Boston fans, good luck to your team...

OH MY GOD!! I'm so giddy right now that I don't know what to do! :lol:

I've been waiting so long for the Red Sox to win, and to go through the Yankees to do it, and from a 0-3 deficit no less, is one of the greatest feeling in the world.

Go Red Sox! Woooooo!

Mornin' Misfits!!

No Guardian last night as Mike was off and Ed dropped once before we started so decided to wait for tonight. We will do Ancs again for his Barb and Lou's if he needs it then on to Baal.

Had a truly good time last night running NM with Pat and I first in Act 2 and 3 then Ed and Lou joined us in act 3. Got to Act4 and Jeff hopped over. Pat got his first NM 1.1 Forge (Fal), we did mine (Lem) then knocked D out and on to Act 5. Believe it or not Jim Popped in and ran his Pally with us. Made it to the Frozen Tundra WP and called it a night. Got my Blizz Sorc from 51 to 60 and got to run with a bunch of my old gang. It was wonderful.

Now we gotta get Ab up to speed and it will be retro D2 time. :flip:

I would love to do an untwinked on East. Don't have near enough projects going on. :surprise:

it is good to see some of the elders arise from the ashes to find enjoyment in this game again.

quite possible ill log on and hopefully have at least 1-2 chars that arent expired :P

also: Congrats Bill and Missy!!! i hope you are doing well. Bill, its ok.. she looks nothing like me <wink> .. all fun aside, simplified biology can explain blonde/brown hair, and a few other phenotypes, so dont hunt the milkman down quite yet :P

Well I thought I had a good time playing with some misfits last night in Night mare. It must have been in my imagination. Guess I have been playing way to long.
 
Grock Blushes, grabs hanky and wipes egg off his face. It was Walt not Lou and we did have a misfit good time. Forgot note to self about writing down names as they enter games due to old age memory problems.

Christor is not really playing anymore (I am tending his accounts) and Skaman I don't see much of either although time difference accounts for a lot of that. I can tend your accounts as well if you would like. In truth, I am not playing a ton these days either ... certainly not near as much as I did during summer.

School and work (and thesis) are chomping a lot of my time. :scared:

I've become an amateur account-herder these days, between christor and neo-hydragen.

I know you have boner stuff so I may borrow just a teensy bit. :evil:

You inspired me to make my own and he is my favorite character to play.

I tried to get on the otherday, only to see that a few of my chars were expired, and the rest aren't wearing anything :P In all reality, I've been way too busy with school and work lately. I get to take my ACT on saturday, that should determine if I get to go to a college that isn't community college.

We had a gas leak at work tonight, and the owner decided the scent was a cleaning solution from our new cleaning crew...I told him that if he didn't call the gas company that I'd quit right there on the spot, so he did. How anyone can be that stupid amazes me, the conversation went like this:
Me: Kelly, I think there's a gas leak by the ovens and grill...
Him: That's just a cleaning solution you're smelling, we just got new cleaners
Me: Cleaning solution doesn't smell like natural gas...
Him: Are you sure you don't smell cleaning solution?
Me: The scent of natural gas and cleaning solution have nothing in common. Call the gas company to look at that or I don't feel like putting myself in this building ever again.
Me: Vicki (owners daughter, she's the manager), your dad has gone senile, time to put him in a home.

Congrats Missy, Chiller, and Bill on their respective newborns.
 
Mornin' Misfits!!

First off Walt and Susan were in the game last night!! Whew got that out of the way.

Had a huge turnout for NM running last night. At various times we had Mike, Walt, Susan, Ed, Pat, me, Nestor, and Lou. Did I miss anyone?? Pat is now at 71 and I'm at Lvl 69. Had a marvelous time leveling like crazy. So much fun, in fact that Ed and I postponed Hell one more day.

We did decide that we will go tonight no matter what. We will do ancients again for Ed's Barb and Lou's if he can make it. Then start the run to Baal. BTW Happy Birthday Mike!! Hope you can make it tonight.

I had figured my sorc to take longer getting to this level. Now I find here almost at Hell level and no friggin equipment to put on her except an awesome Level 48 Orb I have been waiting to use. Off to the trade channel for me I think. I do need some advice on her though. She's pure Blizzard planned for Hell Meph and possibly D Clone if one ever pops where I am.

I went ahead and put 1 pt into ES and am in the process of maxing Telekenisis. Teleport is almost maxed (at the 4 mana per use level). I have 200 points in Vit ATM and 120 points unused. Once I max Telek and tele the rest will go into CM and Blizzard Synergies. Currently Im doing about 2200 damage with very few pluses to skill.

My question is in the area of equipment. Tal's set is out of the question at this point. Can't afford it. Considering the standby Viper or Ormus Robes with + to Blizzard. Shield is why I saved my stat points. Do I go with SS or a Rhyme Grim Shield. I'm leaning to the Rhyme but just not sure. Advice??

She is really built for fun. I've never done a pure Blizz before so if she craps out it's no biggie.

Awww, I don't think that's entirely true. ;) IIRC, I've taken more from christors mules than yours. Although I did take your WC swords so your BObarb is looking sorta naked. :surprise: Good luck on your ACT. Nail that math section for me (especially those pesky logarithms!).
