I knew Walt was gonna start a new 1.... 5th is good for me :)

And it happens to be the 4 peps who posted ahead of me... I have been gaming with the most as of late...

Some ground rules I propose:
1. This team is rachil's. He is the boss. He says go left, we go left. He says stop, we stop, etc.
2. Being untwinked we are going to be heavily reliant on each other and if we start straying then it's a recipe for disaster. So stay close together so that auras, etc. are working on everyone. Rule of thumb: if u can't see the majority of the party on the screen, get closer. From previous exp, we won't have many problems until late nm, but if we get lax on this it will be hard to change later.
3. Sharing drops. Don't think its a problem with this group since we have all played together. Suggest a drop rotation for most items that aren't class specific.
4. If you can't make it, the team plays without u. This hurts the team, so try and make it. Catch up when u can.
5. MF'ing. Bare minimum when we are together. Of course when we are doing lvling runs we'll have the opportunity to mf baal, but solo runs are on your own time.
6. Other ideas?

I read all the rules and I like them. I would sort of unemphasize number (1) ... all the guys we make will certainly be our own when we are done. But I like (1) in the sense that we need a leader, someone should be the guy that decides stuff (like when to go to NM/hell etc) ... and I can do that just as well as any of you could. (no tyrants among us, methinks :thumbsup: )

Another thing, I am actually going to suggest we don't do all the quests. I'm not too particularly thrilled about getting blown to bits by nihlathak on my first try, nor smote by those poison-snakes on the way to him. All of the rest we will likely do out of necessity. (Imbues, Gidbinn rares, etc). Really I can't think of any quest I would choose not to do, besides nihlathak.

I will probably switch accounts for season 2 ... I am not quite ready to delete all the *rachil4 1.10 ladder characters I made. I think *rachil1/2 have plenty of 1.09 deletables and misfit channel access so I will switch to using that. I'd be thinking of where you guys are going to put your new season 2 guys (and mule fleets) as well, and get channel access if you need it.

What do you guys think of sharing season 2 account passwords at the start of the season, at least for our bo barb and enchanter (if they miss a day and we need to do something hard?) We can always change them later. If you guys don't want to do this that's cool. (But as a bonus, you can be leeched along by the others if you miss a day!)
 
I'll be using my *neo.net account for season 2, and I'm willing to share my passwords with you guys (ryan and christor already know them) Nihilathak doesn't sound too fun, although Christor and I did him in norm and NM without much problem over the weekend. So maybe we just skip him in hell
 
Well, i will just go ahead and take the barb, unless Xtor absolutly wants it. Then he can have it(but i think some one mentioned that he liked to play droods). If that is the case, then i will gladly share my pass and account. I have no worries with you guys. I will probably delete my unused chars on my account now. And make my new ones on there. I have about 3 that are usless.

As for S2 - I'll be using my DS_WingBlade2 acct.... it has chan access... iirc - gonna test it in a bit... I have some mules there but there are disposable...


I don't mind sharing the PW for S2.... no1 is forced 2 do this tho... as Ryan already stated...


I guess that acct doesn't have access yet... Walt or whoever else has powers on OPS .... if u could give access to DS_WingBlade2 would really appreciate it... thx
 
Chris and I are experimenting with a possible hybrid barb that would be beneficial to the team right now. He's checking it's viability with a char from the item library that was released on this site during the 1.10 beta. So he might be taking the barb

15 zon with enchant
and 18 zon using tppk guess she forgot she was hostile and stepped out in front of me lol
ive made about 6 other pkers chicken out of game :grrr:

also tried to take on a 29 barb didnt fair so well against him tho :( but at least it was a fun duel.

If it's all right with you, Kyle, I'd like to try out this barb build that Neo and I thought up. Right now, it looks like this:

20 leap
20 concentrate
20 battle orders
20 shout
1 battle command
rest into 1-point wonders and mastery of choice

We tested it and found that the KB/stun from lvl 20 leap affects the whole screen, including champs and bosses. This could be used to keep an entire screen of nasties perpetually stunned while the rest of the party safely hacks them apart.

I believe you mentioned a wind druid in the last thread Kyle? That could be greatly beneficial to the party, with the oak sage and added elemental attacks. It's up to you though, I can play either one.

Ya - I heard that build is quite effective... it has been shown during KTA's 4.0 - they had a LEAPER barb... that just stunned large groups and kept them pinned... I think that would be a very useful companion.. :thumbsup:
 
Ok, yeah sure ill take the wind druid. As ive said before, ide take either one. I havnt played either so both would be fun. Also this depends on when it resets. If it is next week. I will be gone and wont be able to make it.
 
Hey bill....aka opal.....how about helping me start a low lv pk/dueler. It's time I dabble in something else and you have made this sound like fun. I'll be on in the AM....as usual.

Actually Dave, that post your saw is just a breakdown of what Blizz plans to do... S2 hasn't started as of yet... we're all still waiting... :jig:
 
Morning misfits.

Well, my girl friend leaves for europe for a month at 3pm tomorrow, so I'll be play EVEN MORE!!! :D.

As for my accounts:

Anyway, I will not be one today except for a little at lunch, but I'll be on Wednesday night for a while and until 10pm EST everyday after that for a while.

What's everyone doing as the season winds down? Prez and I are making pkers. :lol:

I started a midnight hour charger with all the nice charms/jewels I had accumulated throughout the last month or so of playing. While I was leveling up, I ran across the hokiest pk'er I had seen yet ... a level 11 teeth TPPK necro! I fluxed as soon as I saw teeth coming my way, then rejoined the game and hostiled him (so he can't get the drop on me) and continue leveling. He hunts me down again ... but because I hadn't assigned hotkeys and I am a total butterfingers I end up charging him WITHOUT might on, and weapon switched without my clegs on and he insta-chickens.

Then he brings back a level 70 zon and starts mouthing about "WHY YOU HOST ME" and whatnot. I offer him to duel my barb (lvl 85 1H zerker, 35DR 75Block, 4500HP, 7K swing), which he says he will own and I should go get. Not surprisingly, he's gone upon my return and both his necro and zon accounts are offline. It steamed me.

If I wasn't a dunce I'da fragged him right the first time! His accounts were *evilreturns1 and *evilreturns3. I don't know what clan he was with, he hesitated to tell me.

As for next season, correct me if I am wrong but our current team is:

Prez - Summon Necro playing on *prez2
Wingblade - Orb/Enchant sorc playing on *DS_wingblade2
Neo - LS trapper playing on *neo.net
Christor - Leap Stunner barb playing on *??
Me - Medic/Conviction Paladin playing on *rachil2

And Kaos - Wind/Oak druid (maybe) playing on *Misfit_kaos47 whenever he can join us. In the event that ladder season starts while you are on vacation we will go ahead and start ... we will still be sociable when you return :thumbsup:

If you guys would rather have something besides a paladin I can switch ... I'm certainly the black sheep of the party. We aren't quite as elemental heavy as I would like, but that's ok. Enchant+skeletons+conviction+LR, +traps is going to be pretty damn mean. I can also backup and throw stuff while enchanted and be a mediocre combatant in addition to healer/convictor.

EDIT: A tag? How does Misfit-name sound? I would be Misfit-rachil0 ... I think as long as we don't get too wordy with our -names the tag and name will still be visible.
