I don't think that the duration of blizzard increases as more skill points are invested. :scratch: The "duration" on the skill is the chill length applied to a monster when it's hit with a shard. Animation takes the same amount of time, regardless of slvl. (It's roughly the same duration of the casting timer, maybe a little longer).

Not that any of this matters for a TPPK. All of this will happen instantly, and you could get hit by multiple shards too. :surprise:

Finally, all the HARD work of tppking a whole party can be pulled off with one motion. I think that's more fair, since TPPKing people one at a time was unbalanced'ly hard. :clap:

I'm just guessing that a Blizz tppk would be easier 2 avoid - compared to a Bone Spirit / GA... since those are seek n destroy... whereas Blizz is area effect...

True. I'm thinking that a Blizzard tppk would be effective while a party is distracted, though. Say the party is trying to defeat Diablo and then the sorceress sneaks off and does the tppk with Blizzard. That would be no good :(
 
Yes the blizzard would be harder to hit with i would think. When me and wing tried it, i didnt get hit with the blizz once. But it did stay. So with this you still have a chace of living. Were as with BS or GA, they will track you down.
 
Good afternoon misfits.

I'm finally all moved in and mostly unpacked. It has been several days now since I was able to play any, and I was finally able to get on and fire up the D2 last night. Got on, managed to reply to one message. . . then the power in the entire neighborhood went out. We were having nasty storms, so not totally unexpected. With any luck, tonight I will be back on and able to play some.

Stay safe out there, and watch out for blizzards (and spam). :)

I'm gonna head 2 a friend's BBQ on Sunday... that's bout all I plan 2 do on this Memorial weekend..

for those in the NY area... the weather seems wonderful for the weekend... but then T-storms are supposed to hit on Memorial Day itself...

I should be on sometime 2nite...

Freshly roasted thanks to sitting by the pool supervising my younger brothers swim, I have an opinion on this whole Blizzard TPPK... I think it would be really evil in a baal run game where people are highly clustered, and distracted by the minions... It would be all to easy for a sorc to cast the blizz on top of any number of targets, tp home, hostile. A few ears later, they leave. Makes me scared to Baal anymore.
 
Heh, im scared to baal anyways. Even with out the blizz...the necros and zons are scary enough. Im also quit roasted right now from watching my younger sister and her friend swim. Unfortunatly i couldnt get in because i just took a shower, and i dont know how much my g/f would like me smelling like clorine(SP?) tonight. Also wing, be on the look out for conner this weekend, if you havnt read his post, he is doing a necro clean out this weekend. Hes trying to rid the ladder of tppk necros and zon, and he says hes just gana whipe the realm clean of any necro he can. If he pms his char name like i asked him to, i will /w it to you sometime tonight, im just gana try and stay clear of him all together. If you havnt read his post, he is planning on doing about 65000 dmg when his build is complete(he has a sick weapon). So im just gana try and stay out of his way.

Kyle - I saw Conner's thread... he actually stated he wouldn't be going after ne peps from the DII.net boards... unless otherwise stated.

And he's just going by the list of zons / necros that have been listed.
 
From the way i interpreted it hes going after all zons and necros, but the ones listed have priority. And he said in another thread, the one about tppk not being so bad, that to pm him your char name if you dont want to be killed

Quite a few of us are alpha testing Guild Wars. We have formed a guild there called G.A.M.E. (GAT and Misfit Experience). Makes for catchy phrases like "We got G.A.M.E." :yep:

Be sure to look us up when the game gets released later this year!
 
Well i have to goto a grad party today for my cousin. Ill be back a little later tonight. And i plan on playing most of the night. Would like to start hell tonight. Im getting my marrows today.

BTW:Secreta if you could tell me a time you could be on, ill will try my best to get on. I really dont want to start hell with out the trangs.
