Another CD by a new (to me) group, The Beat Farmers. Listening to their CD Manifold. Very good straight ahead rock n roll, kind of combo of country rock & blues. A good mix of tongue-in-cheek stuff and more "serious" music. Reminds me a little bit of Southern Culture on the Skids (just a little bit). I really don't go for much southern rock but these guys sound solid - and to just call this band "southern rock" would be a mistake, anyway.
