Re: The Exposure Tournament
@Krazy_Solo. R.I.P good friend

. Auriel shall be remembered!
Dorian began his journey into the deserts on a rather
sour note. What a nice shrine to encounter when everything is dead

. Hah, sometimes you just got to just sit back and laugh at this game.
From level 24, Dorian finally said good bye to Holy Fire, which he has effectively been utilizing since from the tender age of 6. I already had a good investment into Resist Lightning (vengeance synergy), which was only growing with each level gained (currently level 9).
In the Far Oasis, Dorian managed to find this
rather tasty sword. Not bad at all! It hits hard, however, I much prefer the speed of the “Steel” Claymore, which Dorian has been using since early in the Act. I placed the newly found sword on switch for situations where Vengeance was more suited than Zeal, such as vs Stone Skin bosses. Dorian could hit very strong with that sword using Vengeance (roughly 200-450, coupled with Holy Shock), however without a sufficient source of mana leech, Zeal is still our preferred method of attack.
Before we knew it, everything was lying still and the air was silent, It was time......time to face the bug!
I lowered the players setting down to 5 in respect of the challenger I was about to face (usually I face Duriel at p/8 if I am confident enough). Given I am still using 2 pieces of the Arctic set, including the belt (only 2 slots

), I loaded my inventory with healing potions + thawing potions. We entered the chamber and charged the slug. My initial plan was to initiate OW with “Steel” and switch to my rare Claymore and use Vengeance. Lets just say that wasn’t the best option. Being chilled + using a single attack move with a fairly slow weapon = constantly put into hit recovery. Ok....so much for that plan! Back to Zealing with “Steel” I think :thumbup:. Ahh! Its working! Slowly but surely Duriel’s life was beginning to drain at a rather surprising pace. I had my inventory open the whole fight, constantly shoving healing pots down Dorian’s throat. I’m surprised he didn’t choke at the rate I was making him chug them! It was well worth it though, as the slug was slain. YAY!
Onwards to Act 3!
S/U’s for the Act: Cathan’s Mesh, Hsarus’ Iron Stay, Isenhart’s Lightbrand, Angelic Sickle, Angelic Mantle, Isenheart’s Horn x2, Nokozan Relic, Civerb’s Ward
Interesting to note: I have found 14 S/U's and only one has been a unique :whistling:. At least it might come in handy! Fighting Diablo rings a bell or two :smug:.
