Cows in Hell give you nothing.....no charms, runes, nothing so building a Java soly for cows is basically limiting yourself to lvl 61-62 or a VERY slow 65 in NM and possibly a quick death in hell cows with NO Bo as a Barb cant phathom killing a Hell cow and would be stupid to do cows for no exp!

Besides, Javas can OWN in CS as there is only one base LI and they are the spirit type things which crumble to cold spells from sorcs/ Javas also own a big part of Flayer Jungle as about half is Ci and the other half is LI and these two places are the better lvlin areas. I beleive the River only has two LI spawns which are knights and spirit things onec again.

yes, she can die in hell, but she helps levelling NM, MFing in cows, accidentally cant kill king, and I considered making java for solo 8ppl cows in cs games, but Im not that gosu
so java and cows created one for another in my opinion. when I think about cows, I think about java and vice versa
you can have any different opinion, but mine is clear
 
Take it as an argument if you wish but from what I read were werent talkign abotu your damn Java in the first place we were talking abotu someone else makign a java and i didnt see them expect to cow AT ALL!

Now....back on topic.....

Java can do very nicely in the whole game you just need some others to help with immunes, a lot of sticks and some pots.....
 
Oh ya, no Warpikes in Classic so although your Valk will still be strong at high lvles whe wont have a 600+ damage stick!
 
Hmmm wimpy mercs ....hobbled valk....no uber uniques to find...no endless Baal runs ....Gosh what's not to like.... :)
 
First how do you know if you are in asia one. I only got one asia option when picking realm, and the channel reads asia11-usa. It fits the bill of no - body on. I thought i did see a teb person in a game, not hard since there is like one game going.

I think i'll give this a shot too, i'll be on Birds_Challenge (hopefully, haven't even tried to make it yet). I've become bored with everything after losing all my mules (read: ALL my mules... 4 accounts of them) and being left with just my 89 sin on EHCL to rebuild and outfit my duelers.

I think i'll try either a zealot, ww barb or bowazon. Hope to see y'all there.

SInce this has turned into a D2C strat discussion...

My holy shock guy is coming along nicely. Level 33 (thx to Bird Sting and others cowing us new guys) And soon I'll have shock and resist lightning maxed.

wondering what people think are good ways to spend the rest of the skill points preferably so he has a good way to deal with LI monsters. Here are a few things I thought of...

a) smite (max holyshield, I already use a superfast weapon, would have to get as much CB as possible to make it work)

b) Stick to zeal and use CB items

c) Train holy freeze/resist cold and switch back and forth

d) a few points into vengence and a bunch in conviction

e) something else I havent though of.

I'm leaning toward the vengance option but with a few reservations. On the up side I would only need a few in vengence to get a very decent amount of damage bonus, conviction is very nice in parties with sorcs, and it would allow me to also put a bunch of points into salvation, meditation, and maybe some other good auras that will help in certain situations.

on the downside my build is based on a super-quick low damage weapon that I can zeal away with and never worry about IM as I deliver an average of 1.5k lightning damage per hit with zeal.

So i would pretty much have to use a different weapon for vengance since vengance only works with a high damage weapon.

If I did the holy freeze option it will be a total of 80 points between the two attacks not leaving much for other important skills.

Any thoughts or suggestions would be appriciated.

It was a Blast... lvl 1 -> lvl 42 with TEB. I havn't had this much fun with DII in a long time.

Asia 1 is the default when you pick "Asia" from the list of East/West/Europe/Asia. To switch to Asia 2 or 3 you click on the "change realm" button on the top right of the character select screen and it gives you a list.
 
First thought that crossed my mind was "I'ma get me some TEB ears"...Then I saw that pretty much they were the only ones that played...so I have to postpone my plans *rolls eyes* eh bird? ( Never saw some on so paranoid of my presence in a good long time)


Ping's still pretty decent. 160 ish Could very well be enjoyable.

nice playing with everyone tonight... i think we've officially taken over the place. Hope they don't mind. I'm gonna start looking at some guides, but i'm going with a cookie cutter skellie/ bone spear necro methinks. (cookie cutter for many, but the first necro i've ever built so why not)

if anyone has any tips for the necro newb i'd be glad to listen

I had a lvl 30 necro who was pretty good than he got PKed :\

What lvl is everyone? I just reformated and I'm reinstalling the game tommorow.

Heh. Nightshade figured out

what I figured out right away looks like. Namely that if you are going to be a pker on asia1 classic Hardcore you will spend x hours making your l33t pkzor char basically for one shot at a pk because the first time you go hostile no one is going to invite you into their private games and since there are usually exactly 0 public ones....

Anyway thats ok. the party play is fun and building chars for classic 1.10 is a new twist on the game for me.

Besides which I have pk chars on LoD east, Lod europe, and LoD asia1 and soon will have them in all the LoD realms. Even in the LoD realms on asia its hard to find enough games going on to really have much chance to pk but I did get one ear with a low level kicker. :clap:
 
I made an asia account and saw some people leveling in a normal TEB game. Went in and said hello with no response :(, oh well.

I'll probably drop in sometime tomorrow when I get bored leveling my new expansion sorc :thumbsup:
