The annual Asian challenge

Well its that time again. Time to go to the most extreme hard core place in hard core.....hard core classic asia. If anyone out there is tired of running the ladder via no risk stand in one place and obliterate the monster spawns exp. TEB is running asia again. I think anyone who has ever run asia hcc and hcx any server and hcc any other server will agree that its prolly the toughest place you will ever play. And for that reason its not very fun at all for some people not for everyone. But if one person out there is looking for a major challenge ( I think sting would appreciate this since he hooked up with us last year on asia when we put out the asian challenge and we been running together ever since.)
this would be it.
You let go of good games full of people( there is just about no one there)
You give up on leeching/relying on a party for the majority of your exp(there isn't hardly anyone there)
You give up good items and play with total crap( I can't even find anyone who trades in this place.)
You play in an economy with no dupes( well there are no trading markets all just about on the server.)
You give up having the joy to listen to beautiful spam bots tell you the lattest sale(no dupes no items = no spam bots)
You give up your nice ping (I'm on 56k so I go from a 200-250 ping avg on east to a 400-500 poing avg on asia.
If your on cable you'll prolly go from like what 50 to about 200? Something like that the lag is brutal)
You give up nice safe( dare I say boring?) baal runs( At end game you run around the cs with the possibility of monsters coming from you at all directions never knowing when a lag spike could jump on ur rear. Ahh the fun of it)

A good coordinated team that plays smart and builds good characters has a good chance to make it fairly high on the ladder since the ladder there is pretty low due to all the difficulties of playing on the server.

Very bored of a way to easy exp system in xpac? Or just very crazy?( you really need to be both to even try asia1 hcc) If your interested hit me up
 
Hmm sounds like it could be fun...Is there certain times you will be playing? If so could you run them by me so i could see if i will be able to make it on at those times. I cant play anytime past 10:00 central, as i have school and thats usually the time my parents make me get off the computer...Weekends, i can play all night if needed :D
 
Also quite interested - are you talking intensive ladder run over a few days or a regular weekly slot type of thang?

I'd be interested, but I can only play in the mornings and afternoon, due to night school. 9:30 to 4:30 Eastern time

How we get in touch with you over there TEB? is TEB_Bird your acct name? aslo if people are going to do this plz post what sort of char you are leaning towrd so the rest can take it into consideration.

I'm making a holy shock paladin right now but I if like a bunch of people want to do lightning sorcs or javas I'll be happy to change to like convict veng or whatever would be most helpful.
 
I interpreted this as a "Go over to Asia1 realm, and run the ladder solo" type of challange, but correct me if I interpreted wrong.

Pretty sure its a group thing.

anyhow I was just over there. One person is making an orb sorc, I'm working on the holyshock guy and Bird stopped by. Looks like Bird is making a paladin too but has many other chars.

it shouldnt be too hard to come up with a really nice group that can pretty much mow down the chaos sanc and RoF

I'd say like umm saturday night

I'm on a lot this week. its basically just come over and msg me and we will figure out some sort of plan to get ppl hooked in to xp together in pairs of 2-3
best time to xp is in evening. Mornings is possible but not much ppl besides me will be on

this is slightly off-topic, but can you run classic and lod at the same time? I'd be interested, but i dont' get to play too often, and i have some chars on east lod that i'd like to keep working on.

Sure you can.

Just make one of the original char classes and don't check the expansion char box.

By the way 1.10 'classic' isnt as played out as I thought it was. I'm having fun and looking forward to going farther with it. my little paladin is level 18 now. so in just 6 more levels he'll finally get holy shock. (knock on wood) :winner:

I was surprised myself when I checked ladder asia few months ago and it was starrting form 19 lolz while eu hclc was from 75 at that time
It looks like a private realm
And guys, Im sort of classic gosu ^^
Played only classic for 1,5 years - now in LOD trying some low-lvl pking
I wont be able to play much, need to coordinate (say what time you got max players and I look when I can join)

I just looked.

On the Asia1 classic hardcore ladder....

To achieve a place in the amazon ladder you must attain the lofty gol of level 16 (!)

If you want to get your char up there before the reset man you better start now! :lol:

Getting on the overall ladder there is twice as difficlt as you will need the patience to get level 33!

there are a few level 90s. the top ten overall is around 88+
 
Well I tried last night but after five minutes waiting could still not even start a game. Mind the cable was generally slow as it was peak surfing time. Will try again but may just be too poor a connection to use.
