Can you actually trade pgems for a Shako? I tried a couple of weeks ago, and all I saw was "LOL", "NEWB", "you serious?", etc., etc.

I truly believe anything is available if you're patient enough. I have traded pgems (60) for a low shako. I've traded 40 pgems for a skulders. I've also traded 28 pgems for a shaftstop and an occy, and then 24 pgems for a skulders. Ravenfrost can go from 15-20 pgems sometimes. It depends on who, when, and how desparately they need the space in their inventory or need the pgems for rolling. The only consistent price i see (and this is on West mind you) is 40 pgems for an um. That is a good baseline. But sometimes you pay more, sometimes less.

I've been called noob, M**f**ker, a million different things. I usually ask politely if they would accept pgems, if they yell at me, i say "thanks for your time, sorry for bothering you". But i often get guys who say "eh, why not". They are likely botters, or some other form of wealth accumulator, but i know that i let things go for really cheap when i don't want to mule, and i am running out of space in my inventory. Things like Buriza, Nats set, waterwalks, stuff like that, i'll move for 1 or 2 pgems or 1 mid rune (amn/sol, stuff like that) just because im tired of carrying it around.

Anyway, good luck. Be polite and patient, and you'll find some great pgem deals out there.

Another thing is rerolling ancients and areas in general.

The ancients can be down right nasty (especially in nm and hell) so have a full tome of tps hotkeyed and check their mods before you start chopping them down. Different areas can be rerolled with a new game. Example, when doing Baal runs if I even see a bolt of lightning shot at me I save and exit, because I'm just so afraid of running into a nasty boss pack.

MapleBarb - Hell - Act 4 and parts of 5 can be down right devestating when you're questing all the way through. Gloams//Souls//Ranged Attackers in general will rip right through everything (Summoners included, lightning pierces through all your minions.) If at all possible trade for a T-Godz and make sure you have full resis.

So far I've made it to the forge. Got a ko :(. I'm REALLY not looking forward for diablo and ancients lol.

I'm also quite clueless where to put my new skill points in since all that I wanted is already maxed as is. So maybe ce?? I only have 1 point there now.

Max CE is something many Summoners swear by.

You could also start pumping Bone Armor synergies for some added protection from physical attacks.

You could even start maxing Bone Spear/Spirit to help get that first corpse and make physical immunes a little easier to handle, although it may be a little late to go this route.

Max CE. Especially if you don't have a lot of +skills.

Sadly, CE dmg doesnt go up each lvl, just radius. But what it allows you to do is clear mobs very very quickly and safely. The radius of the first explosion takes out more corpses, which then allows you to explode corpses further out, which will eventually wipe out mobs within 2 screens of you.

I don't just swear by it, i consider it to be critical to the success of a summoner. One body, many explosions. Just remember to go and check all the dead bodies that are several screens away, as they often drop good loot. I've found some great items from creatures i didnt even know i had killed!

Now I feel like a complete noob :embarassed: I thought the radius thing refered to the distance you could explode them from. I shall do like you and PhatTrumpet suggested and put them in ce. and then once I have xtras I'll add to bone armour

As for the good news: my necro is now a guardian and is a sneeze and a half away from lvl 83  Funny I was terrified of ancients and I lucked out and they were tons easier then I had antecipated

Don't waste points in Bone Armour, all you need is 1 point in Bone Armour, and then put points in it's synergy (i.e. bone wall.) Since you get more hit points of protection from its synergy then from the actually skill. +15 per synergy level, and only +10 per bone armour level if i remember correctly.
