Hi folks I am relatively new to the SPF, as I played previously USWest ladder before burning out a couple seasons ago. This is my first tourney go--I've been checking out the tourney threads and this seemed a good one to get my feet wet in (though I had hoped the Trader's Anatomy one would get off the ground).

Well, a boss pack in the Jail 1 dropped the Infernal Cranium for me, but Andariel et al gave me no love. The Countest, as far as runes go, dropped me a single El :cry: At least I am on the board though.

In Act 2, after getting the cube, Grin_Reaper got to level 22, and I started gambling like crazy as I was holding max gold at that point (I am guessing now I should have started gambling much earlier to improve my MF gear). I started gambling gloves and boots, and, on my 4th or 5th glove, I gambled the Hand of Brock! It took a long moment for me to register what had just happened. Well, my MF gear is revamped with gambled gloves and boots and a couple of flawed topaz and a topaz that was dropped by Andariel into an eth 3-socket ringmail I found while going after the cube. So Grin_Reaper's MF gear is now

Lenymo dropped in the Frozen River. Act also ended with a bang with 2 Golds in throne and Baal dropping 2 Green and a Gold. At first I thought Baal dropped Goldwrap for me, but then I realized it was Bladebuckle. :tongue:

Looking forward to killing cows tomorrow morning. :thumbsup:
 
Last thing I did tonight was gamble my money away, and making up for a lackluster NM Act 1 so far was getting The Mahim-Oak Curio at around my last 150K of gold. :cool: Probably finish up Act 1 tomorrow and mebbe get a start on Act 2.

I guess it's time to catch up. A5 done, with a bit disappointing results. I got only 8 S/U, two of them duplicates. I expected a few more, just numbers... but it shouldn't be. Again gambled a lot, without results. Cows to do.

Done with normal....A5 proved to be more profitable than it's earlier counterparts, and even though baal dropped only one unique(and a failed set, and a failed unique) cows proved nice, dropping four S/U's, including Greyform :grin: (cow king I love j00), even though one was repeated(cathan's seal)

I know this tourney will last for long but considering my time and other projects/tourneys and the fact that I haven't touched Venenum in a very very long time, I'll have to quit this one. Maybe you even kicked me out already =)

Normal cows gave me nothing. In A1, things started better, best find was a pair of chance guards. 14 S/U, and only 3 duplicates. It ended not so good, since I entered the cloister, nothing dropped, not even from Andariel. Gambling luck ... none. Hmm. Well, Duriel waits at the end of A2....

Played around for about an hour this morning. Got through two wings of the Arcane Sactuary with no Summoner. I had the infamous "Green Breastplate" drop from some random Hell Clan at the beginning of the first wing.
