I'm away from the forum for a week and what happens, a new IFT. With an (almost) perfect blue hurty stick. Epic! I'll make a toast to that find aswell!

About atma bugging it: Do what feels best but I think it's worth it for 5 fpa fury because that's too much fun to pass out on :p

That is a MAD spear Worg! I'd definitely make a whirler with that one :thumbup: In regards to the ATMA bug thingy (as it seems to be something that came up during my time away from D2 so I don't fully understand it) - You'd have to use a ZOD right? Because it's blue it rules out using something like "Oath" for the indestructible mod... Isn't the whole debate null and void unless you have that anyway?

Anyways, I've started picking up War Pikes again cos of this thread :crazyeyes: And to stay on topic, I had this tasty little find while questing my new barb through hell... If I get the runes for Faith it could be the basis of the strafer I want to build!

Nice helm but I'm a bit confused..
The prefix is 'berserkers', but it has 3 sockets, so ..artisan's?
Or maybe larzuk, but he gives only two sockets...

Also using Ist and Cham runes is a bit.. rich?
You could just use 3 ptopaz and sub in Trang oul belt instead of goldwrap and have pretty much the same thing..

The charms are probably fine/steel charms of good luck.

Twibz, the charms are Fine/Steel/Iron SCs of Good Luck, and one Fine SC of Fortune. I wrote about the character in this thread, and while some of the equipment there is outdated, a lot of the charms are there.

It's probably socketed in 1.07 since the version is "Expansion" and there magic items can get 1-4 sockets, for example the War Pike of Incredibleness at the top of the thread. It's also easier to get combat skills like Berserk as staffmods in pre-1.10 versions.

Fabian has optimized a Pit-running berserker very nicely and that hat is a great fit for a very efficient MF build! Certainly worth the 1.13 rune usage, particularly for a character that sees a great deal of use.

I think there have been some alliterative personalized items, along the lines of "Berserker's Berserker's Axe of (unfortunately not Berserk)" if I remember correctly, as "stutter" items from a Quickdeath scavenger hunt tourney.

Edit: too slow, and a more authoritative response in any case! At least I found the stutter item list in the tourney thread but I don't see that anyone found the Berserker's Berserker Axe, let alone personalized it with a character named Berserker to make Berserker's Berserker's Berserker Axe...

Like purplelocust mentioned it's a 1.07 item. Barb/Druid Helms (not sure about other helms) can get up to 3os in 1.07 Larzuk.

zaphodbrx, if you check Fabian's trade history or follow his character's threads, you'll see that he goes the extra mile to ensure the best optimization possible - not factoring cost. Your alternative loses 8MF and 10IAS. Not only is worse overall but also overlooks the entire purpose of his optimization.

after ages of farming the pits (my necro is almost lvl 90 now) i found my first goldwrap today - later with my sorc i killed NM meph and got a better one -.-

When completing normal Act II with my rabies druid today I decided to switch focus from the funny wailing wand to Wirts Leg. I tried to imbue it to see if it was possible. Look what it turned into!!!:jig:Endgame weapon?:jig:

Also, a somewhat useful hat and a ring I got from normal Duriel. Yes, you read it correctly. Not the most common kind of loot from that guy.
