Theila - Fire Sorc Taken from Stargate Atlantis (I know theres a mistake the i should be an y and i think theres no h in her name)

The most important thing for my characters is for them having good names :)

Typically, I go for obnoxious names, or names that allure to D&D fiction. Music is also a favorite! Here are my favorites:

Duskmarrow the Necromancer - A Necromancer in the Forgotten Realms.
Nightbringer the Assassin - A badass weapon in Dragonlance.
Infiniti the Sorceress - Standard obnoxious name.
Hipgnosis the Assassin - Standard obnoxious name.
Faithammer the Paladin - A Paladin in the Forgotten Realms.
Mandrenke the Druid - Name of a giant tropical storm. Windy Druid!
Stormforce the Sorceress - Standard obnoxious name.
Direhand the Assassin - An Assassin in the Forgotten Realms.
Lazarus the Druid - A Porcupine Tree song.
Tarkus the Barbarian - An ELP song.

Duskmarrow, Direhand, and Lazarus are probably my top 3. Also, my account name is LordVerminaard, a Forgotten Realms character!

Just an FYI, I don't actually read all of those books: I normally read just a few and then look up what names I'm missing on the internet.
 
I made the name darkavatar long time ago when I played on open.A lot of ppl liked that name.I noticed when I started on realms that it and a lot of variations were gone.

Othes I have are quikil,dark anthrax,wizard flesh,shoutalot and this acc name from days when I ran a crap 16800 dial up connection...Lagalot.

You DO know the band Porcupine Tree didn't make up that name, do you?
Although, if you knew where the band got the name from it would be a bit weird to state that the name came from the song. Which is what struck me as odd as well, hence this post.
(hint about the origin of the name Lazarus: it derives from what I think is one of if not THE most well-know book on the world, at least by title.)

I collect item names like that, my new LLD bowazon is Lycander and when ladder resets, my fishymancer will be Ume

Skullder the nova sorc
Moser the hammerdin
Blackhorn the Fohadin
Culwen the lightning sorceress
Fechmar isn't made yet, neither is Krintiz

Etc.

While all other characters are taken

I also just made Oryon.

Still, I'm looking for a name for my summoner... Oryon sounds kinda weird for a necromancer :scratch:
 
Just a question guys, do you think Asrael would be better on a Paladin or Necromancer?

I just got Cyclos and Argos too.

I think I'll start collecting names :grin:

For my characters, here are my favorites:

Rimefang, cold sorc. (Bard's Tale 3)
Dragonsrage, enchant melee sorc, built around Tiamat's Rebuke.

I once traded with a necro named ReviveProof.
 
I hope this isn't off topic. Whats the deal with char names like "akjdjfsdbwpdkls"? I've heard that these are ready-made chars that people buy. Either that or a stunning lack of effort.
 
Guess I'll go with Paladin... Asrael the Paladin. Sounds good.

Now I have to think of a name for my necro :scratch:
