So my friend says: Where are all these noobs when I'm trading?

I didn't think it would be easy to replicate my famous Thul for Light GC trade, but today I got a Light GC with 27 life for Pul. (USEast SCL, by the way). I know you're all proud of me. I am too. I sense the day when I trade Um for pcombat approaching. :scratch:
 
Mind if I use this thread to also post my L337 trades? =P
Got a guardian angel for 6 pgems (Europe HCL), facet 5/5 light die (Europe SCL) for 4 pgems and one flawless ruby.

Eventually though, I start to wonder, if we're ripping them off? Them being the ppl who trade us. If both parties are happy with what they received does it matter? Or is that just some weak self-appeasement argument =/...

I think this is probably the most one sided trade I have ever seen. With your luck, you might find that pcombat for some gold from a gambling addict.
 
My best one I have got is a Io rune for a Vex, and 4 x 3 socket broad sword for 3 Ber 1 Jah. (Freshly from few days ago...)
A guy from *Troytheimpaler always need some ridiculous stuff and offering high rune... Before I trade off my 4os crusader for his high rune, and now my 3os broad sword for a high rune...
Got the broad sword from act2 normal Fara, within 500 gold each, so virtually 500 gold for a high rune... What a profit :thumbsup:
 
During 1.09 someone was asking what a soj was worth in one of the chat channels. I flippantly replied "3407 gold" or whatever the merchants paid for them in those days. He said he had the gold, so i said "make game" and did the trade. A couple of days later i ran into him again and he was still talking about it. One of the best trades i've ever made ;).

When both parties agree for the trade, nobody should feel bad about getting more than the value of his items in return. Knowledge is power and those who don't know the prices should research first. Either they're too lazy, too rich already and in a hurry or just naive. Whatever the answer is, morality has never been a good quality of a trader =)
