So how often do *you* get a tempban?

It's my second time in three days.

I don't really know what I'm doing wrong... perhaps it's the changing of games too quickly, or something.

I hope I don't get a permaban for it. That would be ridiculous, getting a permaban for changing games too quickly...

How many temp bans have you gotten? What I mean by tempban is "... ..restricted temporarily. Please try again later."

You won't get permabanned. Happend to me more than 50 times and usually the reason is swiching games/chars to fast. Sometimes a CI is enough for a tempban as well. Blizzard avange botlike behavior so it can also happen when swiching skills with the mousewheel or gamble like obsessed, etc.



 
Never ....but i play single player

Even when i played on bnet i didn't get them that often but that was ages ago
 
Dammit, i hoped i was going to be the first to post "never". I play single player mostly now. Maybe once a week i try online something, only to notice it dosnt work at all... completely hopeless.
 
Only when I'm refreshing my mules every month. Otherwise I rarely do enough switching for it to be an issue.
 
You should be able to manage four even at top speed. If you want to be careful you just have to give it about twelve seconds between switching chars.
 
I get them very often...

Loading... then "Connexion interrupted"

"Failed to join" :censored:
"Please wait..." *Goes automatically back to the character screen*

"Your connexion has been temporarily..." :banghead: :banghead:

Basically I get banned when I didn't even join a game. Luckily I can reset my IP, but then I can only use one character before I am banned again. Still, it is an xfer saver.:wink3:
 
I almost never get temp bans - I get chars who get snagged in games and can't join any for five minutes, sometimes, but that's from strange situations where I get connection interrupted. I've got an internal clock accurate enough that I nearly never get a temp ban unless I ignore it.

Same for me, Quietus and channimal. Actually, I have yet to get a temp ban since I started playing 1.11 in July(*knock on wood*), and I switch characters/mule quite a lot.
 
I rarely get temp banned. Failed to joins and connection interrupteds are another story....:rolleyes:
 
I hate that failed to join thing... the worst part is that you know you have a FTJ, but you have to wait forever for it to give up trying to make/join the game anyway... cancel button that works plz?
 
I get those little 5 minute bans almost daily. I do Baal runs on normal with 400 MF so i mule an awful lot of stuff and when I switch to quickly, or if I public mule in laggy games, I not only lose my stuff but get a 5 minute mini ban.
 
i got temp banned once for like 3 minutes lol. i joined a game too quickly, too many times. seems like you get banned from d2 for doing almost anything too quickly...
 
i havent been temp banned for about 2 months, but i dont do baal runs or single boss mf runs
when i mf i do multiple bosses, countess, andy, summoner, duri, trav, meph, diablo, shenk, pits, minions, baal
when muling i go really slow, make a norm game with main char, run a few bosses, if the game hasnt been lagging then drop stuff in town, wait 10 secs between switching chars, keep mules in the game for over 30secs
havent lost anything lately
 
Rarely get temp banned unless I xfer some random stuff thats overfilling my stash a lot. Which is rare because all I get are crap items... However, failed to join games and connection interrupted are a whole different thing.
