Discussion so...1.07 kick skill is real

hey this is my first post and i hope to post more. been a long time player and got in to time travel grail. almost gambled all the 1.00 items working on 1.07 1.08 and later on 1.10 probably 1.09 and collect everything in a 1.13. been reading alot of here lots of good info thow i do have questions.

im working on finding all the items from each patch and making a list of what changes they have as alot of links are to old wayback machine with many snapshots and few link that redirect. so collecting every item in game to confirm the item stats is ideal thow well takes along time to do.

anyway on to the topic

so back in the old days there were hacks and one was a kick skill witch pushes monsters away like telekinesis well some how iv activated it on lod 1.07 (reminds me of duke nukem of the duel kick...) somehow with no hacks. is it a Easter egg that i didn't no about for 30 years?

not so much usefulness but online you can stun lock players on pvp and desink. anyway what are your thoughts.

well i don't no how i activated it. i was doing rack runs in hall 1 and then just noticed the kick skill. i knew about from old past years on online play. but i wont discussed that here

look at the pic on the left skill...that's what im talking about.
they all have kick animations when you kick pots and well there a skill for it.

all it dose it knock back the monster and can stun lock it dose no damage but there blood drops. no sound ether

for pvp i don't no what it dose the one i use online could have been different i don't no but it would knock back well standing in place

i also found a program that can rename windows when mp so you no what is what just dont no if its allowed or not.

back in the old days we had the loader but thow days are gone. sandbox works but hard to use and pita. the commands they say ad this to the command line dont work think its -title "something" maybe worked in beta but dont no.
 
Ah yes, i have had this happen in 1.07 as well.

Was just equipping and unequipping my stuff, checking skills, min maxing my stat points and i had this happen. It does absolutely no damage. However, crushing blow still works. I'd wager open wounds and deadly strike as well, but a critical 0 is still 0

Given you can static down to a slither in 1.07, even if CB worked it is pretty pointless.

Interesting bug though.

Though if you have a minion or party member and could stun a beefy enemy with lots of kicks that could be very useful. Like a one-point smite as I read it.
 
alot of them have some sort of stun and like you said
socer static down to 1hp, Telekinesis
paly with smite
barb with bash/leap/wc
assassians with mind blast
druid with shock wave, maul
necro with confuse, attract,dim vision, bone wall
not all work on all bosses or are 100% hit and it vary s between patches


but this kick might work on bosses witch of course would not be allowed and at lvl 1.
no idea how to get it to show up but im not going to look to how to do it.

sounds like its a bug in 1.07

ya they all have kick animations when you kick pots all but one patch i think. funny how kicking pots was a thing in d3. maybe it was the demo? cant remember.
duke nukem had the kick even double kick... there probably a rabbit hole of the kick in games...

they talking about kick in d1? anyone know what they talking about? i don't no much about d1.
