smite/hammer dueler help

im going to make a smite/hammer hybred dueler soon and have a couple questions. my current plan for skills is max blessed aim/vigor/conc/fanat and rest hammer. i plan to use 9 pcombat 40+lifers and hammer will about 15 hard points by the time the char is done so i should be looking at some great hammer damage with that. but i cant decide if fanat is really needed and if not what other skill. also wondering if i should use pb or zerk. if theres some chart i missed with smite ias bp's with each weapon and fanat on/off please le met know.

also of note the character will be running a constant 125%fcr

PB has a range of 2, zerk has a range of 3. Most duelers will opt for the extra 1 range, however if you decide not to use Fanat you might need the speed from PB.

1 point smite and 1 point holy shield = really low smite damage for duels... Consider just using conc aura and equip some ias gear for smite speed... This will allow you the points to pump up h/s...

p.s. Phase blade is faster and you don't have to repair it constantly...

ill have 7 skills from gear and 13 from charms which will make 1 point smite and holy shield both level 21 which i would say is like maby 5 levels off a pure smiter that has both maxed. worked fine for my v/t.

EDIT: make that 8 from gear so both will be level 22

My "Pure Smiter" has a level 49 Holy shield and 45 Smite...

pure smiters should have an invintory full on 20/5's not pcombats.

A hammer dueler should also use a full inventory of small charms... Lose the Pcombats... Follow your own suggestion and use a full inventory of scs because everyone else does...

Why ask for input and then argue with people that respond?
