Skills on runeword items in 1.11

I am Chinese and I can translate the texts about 1.11. But I don't have the time right now. I will post a translation later.
However from what I saw, there is a big change for runeword items: If you do not have the skill yourself, the skill on runeword items will not work for you. So Enigma items will be much less valuable.

Welcome to the forums!! No one want to flame you, it is just that the information you refer too is not from Blizzard and as such can only be considered a rumor. If it turns out to be accurate I would be surprised but then one never knows.......

Yes, it was said in that posting that "The skill bonus would not work if the character does not have that skill..."

And because of that, I don't really believe the so called "leaked details". What would players do with all those High Runes if the Runewords made from it are not useful at all?

P.S. The original website of that informatin is not Sina.com. Sina is the biggest portal site of Mainland China (PRC), but the original information was posted by a website in Taiwan, China, they act as Blizzard's local agent.

I am from mainland so I visit sina.com frequently.
I think "Paladin can not activate Blessed Hammer in town" part is wrong. "Blessed Hammer" should be "Holy Shield".

Believe it or not, Diablo 2 is more popular in Asia than in US and Europe and we sometimes get information faster.
 
I strongly doubt this information as I have already stated. What would the point be of having a runeword like Chaos then? It's in a class specific weapon (claw) that only an assassin can use but it has +Whirlwind which would be useless.
 
IIRC the exact date when 1.10 was due was frist obtained by some asian website as well (a few days prior), could be the same one.

Blizzard does have a record of adding new features and then removing them so it's not impossible this time as well.
