So sweet. Now I never want to go back to WSK again. All those 3-hits-you die packs and fire immunes makes my skin itch. Luckily I have decent gear so the final battle was survivable, but most of wsk was teleport territory.
How I am supposed to manage to teleport my way into Guardianship with the current gear, I have no Idea.
 
Just dropping by to say that you're amazingly funny A1cme3, keep the up the good work! Hope Barbie gets far.

Rules Question:

I'm playing a summon druid for this. Found a pelt. I can use the Werewolf skill, and the Molten Boulder skill, both because they are druid skills. One concern of mine is the ability to handle PIs. You said that charges of skills are not allowed. Therefore I can't go run NM Meph (assuming I get there) for a Gavel of Pain, to use Amp charges. However, you haven't made mention of CTC, that I have seen. Does this mean I can run NM Meph (again assuming I don't hit deeds before then) to get myself a WWS, and hope the ctc amp will be enough to break the PIs? So the long and short of it is this:

CTC = GG or CTC =/= GG?
 
Ilzan, covered in sweat and Feeder bites, grumbled to himself all throughout act 3. "She thinks she's so great; Here I am doing all the work, constantly getting nicked by those little rat-moster things, while she stands back there safe and sound behind her Decoy." Barbie was still using her bow from act 1, and she barely bothered the hulking monsters with her pitiful little arrows. Luckily for both of them, a shining warrior of the Amazonian gods, a Valkyrie, was looking after them. The Valkyrie spawned with a serious advantage to Barbie; a chance to cast Amplify Damage on striking. Needless to say, the Valkyrie lived through the entire act, jungles and marshes alike, until she succumbed to Mephisto himself. "Rest in peace while you can, warrior of light. I shall re-cast you next game, then it's back to work!" The merchants at the gates of hell provided a nice equipment boost; Barbie has +170 life just from her new belt and armor.

Yes you may use the werewolf skill and moltern boulder skill found on your pelt because they are druid skills and your a druid yes? So you may use them....... but good luck using a level 3 moltern boulder in hell :thumbsup: .

Carrisa's journey so far has been as smooth as a baby's bottom. Nothing has been even able to pose a threat towards our gang. Our merc Haseen (using a nice savage polearm) is currently ripping through anything that stands in his way like a warm knife through butter. Carrisa is well equiped with 2 very nice claws which was gambled and by the way are doing some very nice damage. The journey so far has been p/8, single pass and full clears. (I just cant stand re-runing a monster that we have already killed....i mean it is dead move on........ stop killing what you have already KILLED!!!!) so yes i dont like re-running anything :rolleyes: .

ATM i cant provide any screenshots of Carrisa's journey through act 2, as i am not on my playing computer. However i will be sure to provide some nice screenshots of our fight with duriel as with anything interesting that pops up whilst clearing the false tombs.

Next on the list= Clear all false tombs/Cannion Of the Magi and Kill duriel... (update will follow that).

The Clawed Harpy just looked at the young girl from the rogue encampment. "The gods no longer have need of your service little one. Besides... doesn't Azareal look dashing with that dangerous trident in his hands?"

Iana looked to the sky and muttered several unlady like words. Then she started to stalk off through the allies of Lut Gholen.

"Oh!" The Clawed Harpy called after her, "Azareal will be needing some of your equipment. Just drop it in my stash on your way to... well... to wherever your small mind takes you."

Duriel fell victim to a hail of arrows and several well placed stabs by the handsome Azureal. This was, of course, all on p/8. Tomorrow it will be off to the jungle... but now sleep.
 
I would have joined this tourney with a curses-only necro (teamed up with Isolde, of course!) if I had been allowed to use ATMA as an extended stash. I NEED all those hundreds of chippies and regular gems for elite bow rerolling to have a chance, I think (since I wouldn´t use non-curse +skills from gear, even though they are allowed).

I may yet join, but with a merc-assisting aura Pally. Still need to think about that a bit.
 
Well I figured I may as well post my next and final go at this tournament, an offensive aura paladin.

Molten boulder is used for knockback moreso then damage. And while I'm asking questions, I think this will be my last. All quests must be done in the current act to be completed? I have to use my imbue while still in act 1, or does returning the maulus count? If I have to use the quest in act 1 I'll have to get a white helm and hope for some good +skills. Same deal with the Lazruk quest. Might be a lot of pindle/shenk/baal runs to find an item worth putting the hole in.

After a few days away...Howler continued his quest for glory...Now poised for a showdown with Andariel...he plans to plod further ahead at a better pace from now on...

"I am your Valekrie," the warrior said.

And The Clawed Harpy's enemies fell over in agonizing defeat.

I dislike the rule, but that is irrelevant. I will continue. Challange is what its all about. I will just end up running pindle for a while before I whoop Nilly. Being that I never use the imbues, I'd assume that staffmods go the way of the dodo when you imbue something? Here is to hoping for an awesome helmet. Something like +3 Raven/+3 Direwolf/+3 molten boulder would be nice. Now I only need to live that long.

I've run countess a few times. Found the runes for a "Steel" axe, and a "Stealth" body armor. Need to find the runes to make Nadir in my helm. The extra energy would be nice. Found a jewel of envy. Not sure what to do with it though. Thinking about running countess for Ort runes to make a 3-150 Lightning damage bow. I'd like to think that will last me until somewhere in the later part of act 2. Things are going pretty well. Five wolves, one merc, one raven (hooray for blinding) and the vine. Debating on weather I want a carrion vine for corpse disposal. Time will tell. Here's to survival.

Actually quite to the contray you reroll staffmods on imbues and have a higher chance to get staffmods than a normal roll.

I had a very close call when facing Meph, the boy surprised me with a 250+ damage hit against my 267 HP. I ran for it he followed, by the time my potion filled and I got back to hitting him we were on the other side of the moat I worked him back into the room to the left of the moat where he fell to a few quick slices of my Glaive. and just to think I was worried about the durance dolls killing me off.

close one, I hope diablo goes even easier, I want to atleast make nightmare with this build.
