Um... I pointed him here so he'd get an answer and leave me alone (since he apparently doesn't want to listen to all the 'Laz-loving {homosexual reference} on the Keep'), not for him to start flaming on this forum too.

I know how strict the mods here used to be and was hoping the threat of a ban would be enough to keep him in line. Alas... the first post was already a flame.

I agree, let this thread die...

to try to get this kinda back on topic;

About Eastern Sun:
I play ES and I think ES is overpowered and unbalanced. Using a simple example to illustrate this: There is a bug with damage. You hit a max @ 82k damage of one type (say physical for example). After that 83k=1k 84k=2k and so on. My point is that 1) it is farily easy to get to 82k damage 2) 82K damage shouldnt be necessary to kill things but its is. 3) that applies to one type of damage this means if you take a zealot get a really good weapon and max phys damage synergies and and aura to bost phys damage (which you dont invest points into; and there are many way to get these auras) then you get 81k physical damage. Add an elemental damage aura and max synergies and +skills to get 81k elemental damage, lets say lightning. now you do 162k damage per zeal hit. Now load up on aura when equipped (which you can get a level 120 holy fire maybe higher depends if it works on charms) and add another 81k fire damage. Now you deal 243k damage per hit. Overpowered? You be the judge. To offset this you can use plugY to increase make players to players/127(i think its over 100).

Another downside is that sets are also overpowered. There are low level (level req =16) sets that are better than almost all endgame options. For the most part sets surpass almost all uniques and most runewords. Crafted and customized items may be superior.

Other than those things its a pretty good mod.

I never really got into median. I played it some but didnt really care for the skill system (no offense Laz). It is just a total change from D2 and I'm not too sure about it. But that was a much older version. I might check it out again soon and give it another chance.

Another mod I like was the Walhalla Mod (NOT Valhalla). It has a much more vanilla diablo feel IMO. The main downside is that it is still in beta version and will be for a little while. This means that there are a few bugs. Once these are all fixed and the mod get updated to a full version i think it will be the best IMO.

I'm not amused. See ya Durach - I have absolutely no patience for that sort of flame.

Brother Laz, I generally enjoy your posts and perspective. But I will give you this one warning to keep your forums bull**** out of ours. I don't want to hear of you sending any of the obvious abusive posters our way. Also please be respectful in your own posts - you know better.

Can't I have a couple days off once in a while? Jeez!
