As I level my newly created 1.09 Barb on Normal for the hunt of a 1.09 Raven Claw, a little gold text catches my eye.

The drop...

Oh boy oh boy oh boy! Just found the highest rune in my Diablo career, never having done any LK runs in my life. I was just questing my way through Hell Act 5 with my lvl 87 Hammerdin who I had ran pits with for some time when I found this! :jig:


I'm thinking I should make a Fortitude armour, which would be the best item I've got - by far. I've got a 4 socket Dusk Shroud and Great Hauberk, is either of these good to put it in or should I look for something else?

Funny, the Arreat Summit website seems to think that the Raven Claw can only drop 1.10 or later - I wonder if that's to discourage people hunting 1.09 Raven Claws.

When the Arreat Summit says that on an item that still spawned before the named patch it means that the stats changed in that patch. Raven Claw is a good example of that.

Very, very strange thing happened to me a moment before. After a break I did couple of Pindle runs with my javazon. Trying to improve my run times to under 25 secs I checked her items and found that she uses those:

Thanks for the tip! Sometimes the RNG is downright malicious, and sometimes, inexplicably, you get exactly what you're looking for. Came within 40ish runs of dusting off my fishymancer and getting him back into the WSK. :surprise:

Just found my second Tals armor, now as mentioned above the RNG truly is malicious, i did 10k pindle runs with 10+ rare lacquered plates, and now i find two in 100 runs....
