I just noticed something with those screenshots how could they be MP games when there is no ip address up in the top right hand corner? so those are either fake shots or there has been some photoshoping going on with them. :spy:
 
interesting point there Corpsie...even more interesting is that no one has spoken up about your inquiry since you posted it early this morning

Do up's appear if you join an Mp game. I was in one with Naca and i pressed tbp and there was no ip address there. Maybe it only appears if your hosting.
 
Found my Ber :winner: in I think the 'The Cave' in cold plains. Dropped from one of the champion undead pack that I was killing. Actually I've had a great deal of luck there, I'm a little surprised this place doesn't get mentioned as a MFing place like the pit, ws2, etc....other runes I've found are Falx2, Dolx2 and a he**uva lot of Dol's 9 or 10.

Now if I can figure out something to do with the Ber besides look at it, hold it, rub it, squeeze it, call it my friend.....oops did I just say that out loud?
 
I'm not sure if this is true in a MP game, or whether it was one in those shots, but...

In a SP game, if you hide the minimap, the bit in the top right hand corner which tells you level and difficulty goes as well...

That's true CJ. Also, I'm 90% sure only the host sees the IP in multiplayer, as I have never seen one during play.

It is a good point, and one raised to me by tl988 in a pm.

I will check this when I get home, and look for an IP to join, or have a friends join mine.

It doesnt tell your level but it does tell you what difficulty, except if your i a normal diff game.however in the jah shot i see hell diff in the corner so that doesnt worry me. what does worry me is that there is no ip address, and i am friggin absolutely sure that if your in a MP game whether your host or non host you see the ip address! im 100% sure in fact i tested it last night to make me 200% sure this is true. soo they have to be fake screen shots!

Corpsie i was in a game about 10 mins ago and i pressed tab and never saw an ip, so chill out, maybe i could accuse you of using some super Ip showing hack eh? j/k
 
i also see IP in every games... already saw it, just wanted to check if it was just me, thanks to corpsie, i guess i aint :)

tl998 PMed me about the thread. He told me he was going to quit posting here, and I advised that it might be a good idea. I guess he took my advice.

Seems the SPF detectives have done some overtime here, maybe it's time to let this thread die, eh?
 
ok sure... it seems these guys are indeed legit as hell so i wont say anything in this thread anymore.. i mean, why bother with people like this right? let them just ruin the community
