I have 40K IAS so I think I can dodge with 3 points in evade...

I don't think you'll get an answer about it, if they where innocent you would have one by now ;)

I could be wrong...but don't think so.

lets say I had a barb named Diego like that joining one of my duel games, and he proudly showed a 410%eth BotD, enigma armor, perfect steelrends and 39 3/20/20's +1 annihulius... he said he had 1 hacked char just to duel his brother ^^ after he lost a couple of times he rejoined with another lvl 99 hacked to the gills char (guided arrow amazone with windy40/15 and 39 383 small poison charms)... and after that another and that went on for around 15 chars further,

I was dueling with my windy, he said "brb in 5 minutes" then a winddruid called GodofWind joined my game, a lvl 99 windy with the exact same set-up as mine... (thats why i was so eager to know who the GodofWind in the zod screenshot was...im not assuming anything, and i think that windy just had the same name, stupid coincidence)

So, when i was looking at the Jah screenshot, you can see @ the sorcs butt, just the tip of a ethereal sword... looks like a cb... he is using an arreats and a storm, same as the one in my game, and the armor is a sacred iirc, and the Diego showed me a sacred enigma armor...

Thats the reason i was a little bit sceptic...

After i did some little back ground research among my diablo contacts (play FBI tune here ;) ) and one of my friends played in that game 2gether with that barb... he was, suprise, a lvl 99 barbarian.. he said he was 1.09 so thats off course possible...But he told me there were indeed coming lots of poison nova's from that barb, and when he asked about it, he said it was probally the carrion ring or the andariels visage on his merc...

And therefore my friend from down under, i would like to know who this barb is, cause seeing Diego in this Jah shot, and he is the closest one to the jah rune...(also see all the other items layign i a group, and the jah at the feet of the barb ) And on top of that, seeing that same group finding a Zod rune after there just have been 12 threads about what should you do with a zod/how to cube to a zod/what are my chances on a zod etc.... that rings a little bell in my head...

Ok, i probaly shouldnt even have posted this, but i just had to vent this on the forum, it is not my intention to flame or putting someone in some hairy position..... my doubt only go out to the barb called Diego, not to anyone who was present in those rune games, and indeed, even i will say.... gratz on the finds guys

And yes, i have 2 respectable members backing me up cause they were present @ the duel game and were a witness of the haxxed barb and many other chars...

well, im off to equip my fire absorb items...

It IS possible for a 1.09 barb that converted to 1.10 to be wielding a BOTD right? Because I'm pretty sure Diego in my game was wielding a BOTD. However, I didn't see anything suspicious from him during the time he played with us (besides the fact that he was very powerful, which was expected because he had really good gear. And yes,I saw him teleport) so I won't accuse him of anything yet.

Yeah, but Diego didn't kill the monster that dropped the rune... whether he hacks his characters or not should be irrelevant to the great find.
 
If you play with a tainted player in your MP and he is active, even if this player didn't kill the monster, all itens droped are tainted...

...unless he stays quiet in the campfire :(.

Sure it should. Is the getaway driver innocent because he didn't physically rob the bank? Then again, my view is tainted because I don't think the Vex, Jah and Zod where all legitimate drops.

tl998 - well think about it...did any of your 1.09 characters jump straight into 1.1 and own everything? We all had to rebuild, so why should his barb be any different. Now look at the runes needed for BotD...you then say you saw him teleport...that's Enigma...look at the runes for that...definately hacked.
 
im didnt say he was hacked due to the botd and enigma... i mean, i know soem people who know some people who het their information from some people who also have a botd and enigme :teeth:

but the fact that he showed them to me, saying he hacked them AND the fact he showed 39 3/20/20 PLUS an annih charm to me.... that make shim haxxed...
 
Thats the problem when you play with someone unknow, i'm not playing MP yet(fighting my ADSL router), but i'd only play with players i know that play legit.

If i make love with a person she can have AIDS, i can't see that but it's possible, if i can't detect something that doesn't mean it dont exist, some players of this comunity learned that the hard way, and thats a cycle, with the jah "you" make a enigma, all itens that you find with that enigma are tainted.

You can have teleport without any rune ;)
 
We still don't know if it's the same guy. It could be someone different, using teleport charges.

In all honesty, I actually think that Diego in my game was using Enigma and BoTD. Still, that doesn't prove anything right? Yes, it's somehat suspicious, what what if he ahd played for a long time and saved up those runes (maybe found some of them in 1.09?) Of course since he admitted to hacking, I guess he is, IF it's the same Diego in my game.

In any case, I'm not going going to worry about this any longer. If it turns out this Diego is the one that hacks, the next time I see him, I'll tell him to leave.
 
I reckon just from what has been said that it is the same guy and that he hacked thus making the game that you found the Jah in Tl998 also tainted, but you would like to not accpet this fact so you can keep that Jah am i right?
 
Obviously since I have done nothing non-legit myself to obtain it, I'm hoping that this guy isn't the same guy. However, if I am convinced, I'll sell the Jah to Charsi. The Rogues could probably use something better than the crappy imbues she gives :lol: That Vex is definitely legit though. He wasn't in the game at that time.
