the summons?

I was just told that prebuff'ing the furries doesnt work, just with the spirits. (messes up my builds i was doing if so)
 
I heard that prebuffing summons works for their stats, but not their number. If you're going all summoning this shouldnt be a problem though.

EXAMPLE:
You have 3 points in Spirit Wolves. You get an item thats +2 all skills. You now have 5 wolves that you prebuff - all with level 5 stats. When you remove the item, 2 wolves will disappear but the 3 that are left will still have the level 5 stats.

Someone correct me if I'm wrong.

You are right, same with necro skellies and revives.
 
you don't have enough +skillz to support ONLY summons, you're better off going HoW and summons and using a descent maul weapon like griz cad or up'd ribcracker for support damage. This build isn't a shaman, its just a summoner.

If you just try to make this so called mf-shaman without the necessary high lvl pets, you'll get rapd big time or get bored running around using shockwave and constantly recasting weak pets. You don't need max block, only a good ~50%, but I suggest a good weapon with or without a good shield. Save all the vitality you can get, go more hybrid maul route for speed and survival.
