Well, I found a Civerb's that was a perfect -perfectly bad. All the worst values of the three variable modifiers. :rolleyes:

I finally found one of the Silly Name items - a Diggler's Dirk. Also upgraded H in my alphabet.

Since Naab took the first place, I thought it was time for some serious love hunting. Champion corpulent was really easy in 2nd run. I didn't expect much trouble there.
Next was tha fanatic sucker. I decided to go for it with my sorc for the teleporting abilities, After 4 hours I still hadn't found him, though i did found 7 possessed ones and many other blue versions. It was allready late, so I decided to roll a nice map for my javazon for the possesed vile temptress at normal.
Today it took only 1 hour to find the possessed one.
On to the fanatic sucker again.

After 20 minutes i thought i might see one, so i was looking ver desperate at all the monster and suddenly, the red screen, damn i didn't even notice i was being killed, 300 ancient tunnel runs (6M)experience lost...
Now i was mad, curse the spider forest.
So now i started running again and killing monsters if they weren't fanatic suckers, this way i got at least 6k experience back lol after a few runs. And then i noticed my merc was killing some blue suckers, quickly teleported away and one of them survived. I was able to notice it was a fanatic one woohoo.

I decided i just needed to screen the ***** so for safety reasons my merc had to die. After looking for 5 minutes for a stron group with i had a brilliant idea. The ancients. Quickly i teleported to the ancients and after my merc was cursed by them he quickly fell. Cast portal, damn out of portals, damn the red screen again. grrr. Now i was really mad. bought a portal and teleported to the ancients again and offcourse i died somewhere in the ancients way, how could i be this stupid? Bought my merc killed everything in ancients way looted my body killed merc again went to spider forest and got my screenie. finally.....

Now i need:
COA: Not going to hunt for this one anymore
perf civ: Cannot believe i haven't found this one yet, this is probaply the easiest one i miss
ethossupcrown: just need some luck
biggins bonnet: I don't think i will start some serious tc3 hunting, though it would fill a lot of gaps in my grail
alphabet: not going to hunt for this one anymore

I might consider doing some p8 normal cow runs with my javazon. This is a very good place for white(gray) crowns and also for civerbs shield. And who knows i might find biggins...
And my cow kings set hat is a really bad roll and ruins my perfect grail armor tc 30 average. odds for finding this one at normal without killing king are small, but who knows.

Little update on rares,found(ran coldcrow) biggins bonnet.Ive found plenty of green large shields but none of them havent been perfect unfortunatly and i doubt ill find it in time:( .also gettin good rares has gotten really hard so ill doubt ill get any more points in those too.And i wont prolly find a Griz valor or CoT in time aswell so 226 might very well be my finish score.

Best to stick to what you have been doing or stop looking and items will just drop for you:wink3: (or not)

I won't be able to make my final report till next weekend as I will be away from an internet connection (but I will be playing on my laptop till the end for sure.)

I was thinking that I never got a chance to play in the First Hunt and I have decided to do that hunt on my own. Would anybody be interested in playing along?

Minor update for me. I found Puke Lust and I was reminded of this hunt. I've also found a couple other of the S/U's but no update on the alphabet. This will probably be my ending score unless I find something like an ethereal crown with sockets in the next few days.

Wow, time is running short! I have lots of rare items to sort through and I'll have to do that quickly! I did finally find a rare katar to get my final letter, and I got a good DC map and finally got a Possessed Vile Temptress but the main thing I'll need to do is sort out score improvements on the rares.

My final update. I had originally intended to do a final low-level scavenging to nab the easy items, but that's only going to get me around 40 more points, tops. 'twas nice picking up the rares, not to mention the perfectly-awful Civerb's. Good luck to everyone seriously trying to win this!

I didn't make it.

Last days I made a 140 p8 baalruns with 300 mf. And not a single improvement for the "desperate" scavenger hunt. Now i have to go to work.

My final update- I did sort through a jumble of stashes and improve some rares, and added the elusive Possessed Vile Temptress. Well done everyone! This was an interesting search and great fun! I never did find a rare +3/+3/+3 anything, let alone a +2 skills +3/+3/+3. And I looked at a lot of rares!
