Roles of Madness. Mafia Thread

Re: Roles of Madness. Mafia Thread

Laarz, generally speaking, I have no idea why one Doc would know of another role in the game. It just happens to be the case this round.

I don't want to be more specific until everyone else has claimed - that would be you Laarz, and of course the flubmeister.

Re: Roles of Madness. Mafia Thread

Sathoris, so you have a limited investiivegative ability? So you were told in your pm that those two were in the game? If you think that Asrrin was the vigilante and you have no way to complete your win-con, why would RE not tell you? I think there is more to your role than that.

Because if RE told me he'd effectivly ended the game for me and I would be able to inform the town that the SK/vigilante are dead which could id some of the NK'ed people we didn't know about. Thus potentially ruining the game..

Yep, Saths claim is missing some vital pieces, like why would you chose to "investigate" people who are relatively confirmed. Doesn't make sense. Very interesting claim though to say the least.

Also, if I'm right, Laarz and flubb are the only ones left to claim. Would either of them like to speak up?

Because I couldn't win anymore and I didn't care. Besides the SK can't win anymore either so what was the point?

Re: Roles of Madness. Mafia Thread

Too much giving up in this game.
Whenever I lose, get lynched, etc, I try to work out ways of NKing folks IRL. Never say die, I tell ya!

Re: Roles of Madness. Mafia Thread

Ok Loz, I'll claim

I'm a blessed child, my power is passive, nothing bad happens to me but to someone else.

Re: Roles of Madness. Mafia Thread

Something bad happens to someone else if they target you? Without quoting your PM, can you be more specific?

Re: Roles of Madness. Mafia Thread

You may lynch me if you want, my wincon has come and gone for a long time now. I am indeed neutral, my wincon was to find the one shot vigilante and the SK before one would kill the other. I'm pretty sure now that Asrrin was the one shot vigilante. You may notice that I didn't trust Ankeli at all when he said he inherited the NK ability because the role he checked out was a permanent one. It was a one shot so Ankeli shouldn't have had any killing power. But then we had three deaths, so something else mustve been in play there.

I didn't trust Gwaihir because three neutral roles seems like a lot to me even with all power roles, but who knows. All I know is this that these people aren't the vigilante or SK: N1: Goryani, N2: Valhauros (blocked), N3: Valhauros, N4: Erik, N5: Loz

Oh and my rolename is Requiter. Have fun peeps.

So let me get this straight - you are a neutral with the power to investigate. To win you needed to investigate both the SK and the vig.

And yet most of your case against me was that you didn't think I could be a neutral with a weird win condition, even though I even had some manner of proof for my claim. Can you further explain what you were thinking?

Re: Roles of Madness. Mafia Thread

Whatever i'm targeted with is applied to a random person.

Can you further explain this? Any active ability that targets you gets redirected to a random person. So if I would try giving my holy ward to you, someone else would receive it? What about if you were targeted by multiple skills, would they go to different people, or to the same random person?

I really hope this is a false claim, it seems pretty sketchy to me (part of that might just be because of the very large amount of added difficulty it puts on my win condition).

Nothing to play for... Had to vent and it seemed fitting to your role...

Re: Roles of Madness. Mafia Thread

Laarz's role claim seems incomplete - unless it is complete, in which case it makes no sense in the context of this game.

Sath's claim seems as fishy as it could be, to me.

These two are my vote choices. Sath can be lynched/locked with the next vote, I will ponder awhile and then decide.

Re: Roles of Madness. Mafia Thread

Don't buy Laarz's claim. His role together with Pyro would make 2 unkillable players, which means the sk could never win. Balancing is hard, but that is unforgivable. One of them is lying, has to be. Gl with that tomorrow.

Re: Roles of Madness. Mafia Thread

Only that i'm pro-town and that the person doing the action on me wont know my ability was what caused them to fail. I asked RE if this was a role he made and he said yes, I showed a couple of roles to him and he told me Nexus was the closest to it but that he had made it without seeing that role. I have tried to play low keyed to not draw actions to me because I feel that the role has the potential to confuse town reads

Re: Roles of Madness. Mafia Thread

well I still dont know if pyro is telling the truth about all of this. I believe he mixed up his nights somewhere but I am not sure. Fred was the claimed cop though night 3 correct?

Also: I am not lieing. Gwahir targetting noodle was not known information. I called him out on it after Noodle died and he claimed his holy wards after that which was then confirmed by FoE.

Gwahirs role is still weird to me.

Sath being unknown to investigation confirms he should be lynched even if he is telling the truth.

the rest is up for debate, lets see where we are at after sath's lynch I say. Still have a big advantage (hopefully) if what we are hearing is true

And thats wrong Sath,I can be lynched and I think Pryo said his protection only lasted as long as he was alive, so after he is dead the person he protected could die.

Re: Roles of Madness. Mafia Thread

Technically my power is not unkillable, I would just have to die first in order for the other person (FoE in this case) to be able to be killed at night. Reflecting all night actions against someone onto someone else is a far reaching claim in my opinion. That would make them invulnerable except through lynch which is just plain rediculous, there is at least a way to stop my power.

Flubb has still yet to claim as well, but we at least have an innocent result on him.
