Ravenwood Retreat Mafia Game.

Re: Ravenwood Retreat Mafia Game.

Techno's vote is reflected on the front page tally. Mara's not locked.

I'd say lock him, Loz. If we're going down this route, might as well make sure we can't back out of it and have a third no-lynch day.

Re: Ravenwood Retreat Mafia Game.

I (or someone else) have an hour in which to lock Mara. Other opinions? Don't be shy!

Re: Ravenwood Retreat Mafia Game.

Technomancer has an invalid unvote in post 437. He will still be voting TC until that is corrected.

Vote: Marahumm

I've talked about it for three days now. It would be disingenuous to talk without taking action.

Re: Ravenwood Retreat Mafia Game.

By my count, that is Marahumm locked. Should be interesting seeing how this pans out.

If Mara shows anti-town, that will help crystallise who I want to take a look at during the course of Day 4.

Re: Ravenwood Retreat Mafia Game.

Holy crap! It probably doesn't matter at this point, but:

Unvote: ThunderCat
Vote: Marahumm

I feel really stupid.

Re: Ravenwood Retreat Mafia Game.

Marahumm is now locked. Day continues as normal for a little less than 30 minutes.

Re: Ravenwood Retreat Mafia Game.

Day has ended.

Reinvigorated after a night of rest, you're determined that today you'll find someone worthy to lynch. Your thoughts on who to lynch go back on forth for most of the day.

Finally, you settle on Marahumm. His badge is probably a fake and his "investigations" could easily be fabricated. Marahumm doesn't put up much resistance as you take to him to the courtyard to be hanged. What else could he tell you than what he already has. After hanging Marahumm, you head up to his room to search his belongings. However, all that you find is stacks of notes and correspondences pertaining to his investigations here. It seems he was exactly what he claimed.

Marahumm was a Cop, Pro-Town.

A little while later screaming can be heard. A body has been found in the courtyard off to side. When you arrive, you realize that this is the body of Leopold Stotch. Upon inspecting her, no discernible markings are found that would indicate how she died.

It is now NIGHTTIME, you may not post for 24 hours. All those with night actions PM me ASAP.

Time until Day four start: Thursday 26 @ 4 PM EST

Re: Ravenwood Retreat Mafia Game.

As Goryani took a stroll through the halls at night, he was shadowed by two men. Both men were completely oblivious to the presence of the other. Just as he reached his chosen spot in the courtyard. he had the feeling that he was being watched. It was at this exact moment that he felt something slide across his neck. He struggled but was unable to free himself. In moments his assailant was finished and slid back into the night. The third man watched the encounter and realized he would be going home empty handed tonight.

After going through Marahumm's notes some more, you come across an unopened correspondence. Reading through it you find out that apparently there are as many as five mafia members thought to be at the retreat. Looks like you're going to have to get cracking if you're going to come out of this alive.

Goryani was strangled.

It is now DAYTIME.

Players Alive:
1. Asrrin
2. CoolguyBad
3. Noodle
4. Zarniwoop
5. ThunderCat
6. Bad Ash
7. Technomancer
8. Sathoris
9. Caluin Graye
10. Krazeyivan
11. Ankeli
12. LozHinge the Unhinged

With 12 Players alive, it takes 6 votes to lynch someone and 7 votes to lock the lynch.

Re: Ravenwood Retreat Mafia Game.

Hm. Two mafia factions, or a serial killer, it seems? Or a private investigator / investigating reporter role for the second person shadowing Goryani, I guess. Interesting.

Re: Ravenwood Retreat Mafia Game.

Regarding Goryani, it seems that he was targetted by two factions last night. Which brings me to my next point, the fact that the story mentioned 5 mafia members. I'm betting on two factions, one with 3 and one with 2. One of them likely has special powers instead of an NK ability, such as kidnapping and/or poisoning.

Now, here's the part about my role that I was reluctant to share. I was able to talk to Miss Leo both during the night and during the day, as she was also a coroner. Sadly, this very powerful thing didn't last for too long.

Right then, so should I investigate Goryani tonight? Since the other options would be Gorny to find out who he switched on night 1, or go for Laarz and see if he had any sorts of abilities?

Re: Ravenwood Retreat Mafia Game.

I would lean towards investigating Goryani, TC. I'm curious about what may have interested two separate factions on the same night.

Re: Ravenwood Retreat Mafia Game.

I read this as Goryani was targeted by both mafia and the kidnapper. The kidnapper was left "empty-handed". We were very lucky not to lose two townies last night.

Maybe five mafia left? And 6 votes to lynch, 7 votes to lock. Not good.

I'm struggling to come up with a convincing (to me) lynch candidate. A re-read and a ponder are both due ...

Re: Ravenwood Retreat Mafia Game.

Also, for the record TC, I no longer suspect you. Your misses early in the game were uncharacteristic, but you were clearly aligned with Marahumm, so are obviously town.

Mara can't be happy about getting lynched two games in a row after his streak.

Re: Ravenwood Retreat Mafia Game.

I think goryani is the better choice personally as previously discussed. The only major perk of going after gorny is if you can find out who he switched on n1, but I personally would find out what goryanis role was so no one can false claim it
