anyways, after weeks I managed to play some D2 for more than 10 minutes, and I made good use of that time:
buraz is now Conqueror buraz. :jig:
Act V had its moments, but mostly it consisted of waiting for my merc to do the killing. Pathetic. But he did his job well. Except for Baal's Throne Room, which was full of Oblivion Knights (equals to: instant death for merc and Valkyrie in one bazillion cases).
My finds were mediocre at best - I found 3 unique Crossbows - but some finds were quite good, like the 2 Shaels (1, 2) I found. Then I shopped a Artisan's Gothic Shield of Deflecting, which might be - once I insert 3 PDiamonds - quite a good option in Hell. Although I'm not sure if I should throw in an Eld for more blocking, but probably not.
I racked a Shako (what - were you really thinking it was a unique one???), had a fight with a nasty Blood Witch boss (yeah, it was so nasty I didn't even have the time to hit "Print" when she was still alive
), encountered and survived Might Aura Frozenstein, survived Nihlatak's blood bath and survived my merc running in every direction but not towards Nihlatak until Nihlatak finally gave in, split Lister's pack and brought Lister down until I finally faced Baal. Oh, that's how I defeat him. The weapon equipped is Woestave, the one I hold and am about to switch on is the ethereal Insight Partizan. It was
1) equip Woestave
2) hit Baal
3) equip Insight for about 15 seconds
go to 1) and start the circle again.
Great drop, Baal, yeah, thanks... :hang:
Best gamble so far...just kidding, obviously
Anyways, now I'm going to pay the Cow level a visit and then it's time for Rick'n'Roll!
