Exactly, Sting really has no power here, he isnt a admin, thus he only has power over his forums. While his word may mean a bit more, Zappa is the one who decides.

However, usually Zappa doesnt have to, as this forum self moderates itself very much so, and if several forum members tell you something, it would be a good idea to do it, because generally if you ignore them, then Zappa has to come out of his recluse.

People:

1- I have read the rules and name notwithstanding I abide by them.

2-I have posted in communication with mods, and can't imagine that if I am still here that they had a huge problem with it. All it would have taken is me learning that it bothering one person, and upon seeing the original post I pm'd Aragorn and Rushter in request that they work with me to change it.

3- I took his advice. Nothing in my post was confrontational. I will handle this like a responsible idividual. Please do not address me as if I am a child-- I did take sting's advice and believe that my previous post indicated that I didn't require any additional coaching on how to do the right thing. My post count may not be as high as yours, but I understand that this forum means much to those of you who have been here longer and have put much work into it. I will address this issue and you can look for a new name (and avatar ) ok?

Don't let them get to you Shytstorm. There are many prententious people here that make very rash statements. It's obvious, atleast to me, that if the mods had a problem they would have addressed it long ago. I applaud your maturity in this thread and I look forward to seeing more. There are many fanatically odd people here that aren't necessarily stupid, they just don't completely address the situation head on. You'll see we're a good bunch. I wouldn't change your name if the mods haven't asked you to. I mean, if no one has brought this to attention in over 200 posts it really isn't an issue.

I wasn't aware until recently that the only folks that are moderators had the word "moderator" or "guildmaster", and I'm not particularly fond of the insinuation that my intentions were ill. I have seen individuals who have been here awhile and have high post counts do act as moderators, which is understood for reasons discussed above. However my comment wasn't any more confontational than his (stings) original post or you "suggesting" that I take his advice. Again, I am at least under the impression that I am dealing with adults or mature responsible individuals here, and while we are not face to face, even in admonishing someone there is a level of tact that can be exhibited. There were far less civil and appropriate ways to have addressed this, and I don't see any incredible harm in my words. It sure as heck isn't flaming relative to what does happen here, now is it?


There is no need to further muddy up this thread. Again, it seems that we are on the samge page, and I respect the wishes of fellow forum members. If you or anyone wishes to comment further on the matter msg me. This thread shouldn't be about us bickering, as it demystifies the experience of visiting this site just as much as my name does.

You misunderstood my attempted hijack of a hijack of a... (lost track) Annr and Cy are the mud wrestlers. Raka is just sad because we picking on the little guy too much. (and I guess if you have to explain the joke it's not very funny.)

Did about 20 Raikanishu runs with my 350% MF Druid in hell and he only dropped blues or rares. There are usually camps of Fallen and some Boss packs on the way but they also dropped nothing.

Then I do 1 (one) run with my untwinked poison necro, totally on the edge of my seat, because he is not very safe without the KTA party and a monster that hangs around the monolith drops Trangs gloves.

Go figure....

Actually every member of this forum is a moderator in a sense. Every post has an "!" attached to it so it can be reported if it contains an innapropriate offense.

And i must say hinting that Stinger is in the "younger" crowd made me laugh, I guess us old farts gota stick together
