Rainbow Facet Question

I was having a conversation with Suggestivename, and we didn't know the answer to this question:

Do the Facets with the death spells cast if they are used on a merc? Because it would be quite interesting to have a merc who, when it died, cast level 47 chain lightning, level 37 blizzard, level 31 meteor, level 51 poison nova, and level 44 nova (from medusa's gaze).

Can you even gain the benefits from multiple facets like that? Thanks in advance for any replies.

lol - I have a related question. How hard would it be to get an act3 merc to be able to weild a shield that requires 219 strength? Perhaps a requirements jewel would be in order.

I have a cold , and lighting facet on a merch when he goes BOOM !

I kinda dont like the facet jewles I find rare ones that are much better all the time

if you wanted to make a nice "rainbow facet " how about this

20 % resist all
- 30 magic damage
+5% all max resist

or
adds 30 to 40 fire
10 to 20 cold
1 to 75 lighting damage
100 posion over 5 sec
adds 30 magic damage

or
+1 to skill
+5 to all attributes

make then have a level req of 60 or more
but hey I'm getting off subject sorry

i dont know i had a shaftf with a lit die faucet in it on my merc and when he died nothing no chain lit just died
