question about my vortex shield

hi everyone,

I found a 4socket vortex shield (non-ethereal) just a few minutes ago, with 40% enhanced damage and a nice AR bonus, but no base resists.

My question is: What to do with it. I was thinking of making a Phoenix runeword in it, but is it worth the runes since it has no base resistances.

i would like to hear what you people have in mind. open to suggestions:smiley:

If you can get resists elsewhere, it's a decent shield, would be great for a high dmg exile if only it were eth :undecided: Phoenix is an option I guess, don't think it's a great pally runeword though.

i was thinking of the 350-400% enhanced dmg that phoenix gives on the shield + the 40% ed that already is on the shield. if this works with smite it would be massive damage in combination with grief (since grief damage adds to base damage, right?)

ed can go up to 65% on pally shields....40% is a bit low IMHO
