Well, for the most part I think running > teleport for fire druids, but consider that sometimes it is useful to teleport.
ber storm with engima offers full dr, lots of run, the ability to teleport around fissures vs running/charging/ww people. Plus you can use arach this way anyhow. ravenlore > jalals. +2 druid r/w ammy are great, or even 08 highlords. You don't necessarily have to tweak damage if you are trying more for defensive strategy.
running diagonally or teleporting to the southwest of your opponent is the best way to get armageddon hits.
molten boulders are exceptionally good vs wind druids and hammerdins. you do a cast of it to the southwest and run/stop/run/stop inside of it so that if they namelock tele you the get knocked back directly into 'geddon AoE, plus take the decent damage from the boulder itself. vs wind druids they will often explode and will at least help eliminate minion stacking. The only other thing that can work decently against a namelock tele is to lay a volcano on top of yourself and tele out when they tele in.
always use this / diagonal, either north or south of your opponent when you can, and avoid \
