Pul upping defense NOT!!

Ok - I found ethereal Carapace (by the throne seems no one wanted it).
Defense 2600 so I think put PUL in it and up it by 30% - Yay!!

Well it upped it 150 pts only to 2750 - Great merc armor but why did it only increase by 150 pts? Is there a cap or bug here or is the extra defense hidden? Even upping just base defense on regular shadow plate would give more than 150 pts wouldn't it?

I think the Defense is added with the ED on the armor itself, thereby not increasing it by much.

Dont know what has happened, but a PUL should increase the defense by about 250.

From my calculations, the enhanced defense should be around 230% on it now if the total defense is 2750.

It seems the ED from pul is additive with the ed already on the armor, so you would get 220%-250% ed instead of the usual 190%-220% ed and not (190%-220%) * 1.3 = 247% - 286%.
