You really need to post stats of the items. Gheeds vs LW can be either very lucky or very bad trade depending on the stats.
Got a Gheeds Fortune while running Baal. I offered it in a trading game and someone offered me Last Wish for it. Later i got 2 SoJ 1 Arach and 1 Jah for it

I dont know how much extra gold it had but the rest was /32/12.

bought a 1 to java skiller + 36 to life for pul
sold it for vex + jah + pul
bought a 1 to java skiller + 6 to str. for pul
sold it for um.
made a spirit shield 31, fcr - sold it for a sc 7 mf - sold the mf charm for a 19/12 assa Torch. - Not sure if this is lucky.. at the time I thought it was a good deal..
- Found a mal.. traded it for ist.. - At the time I thought it was a GREAT deal.. now'days I know better.

As long as the gheed was not perfect. Seeing it was a random one, it's lucky trade indeed.
Well, ultimately I think that 2 SoJ 1 Arach and Jah is pretty lucky for Gheeds

I never pulled of a great trade because I always traded on these forums. People got a good trade out of me on other forums though

Not mine, mine should be in the fail thread. I was on a server with my little bro, he had ormus robe, I felt sorry for him and gave him 15pgems (I wanted to find runes and clear some space) he then joins another server and swaps full tal rasha for 12 pgems. Gutted.

Can't think of any lucky trades, the occasional person on bnet that would trade decent stuff for enough pgems to occupy the same amount of space. Has happened more than a few times. I just got a free barb torch though. That's pretty lucky.
Someone posted a game name and pass in the channels for a free barb torch and they were actually serious. A paladin told me to follow him and he took me to it in Uber Tristram and said "grats".

i was just started again and making mellee druid
so i bought an beast ba for 2 hrs add
some days later i thought "aint beast ba actually 5 hrs"
so i sold for 5 hrs again and got an BoTD eth ba for 5 hrs
some days later i didnt like the druid so sold the BoTD again for 6 hrs
so from 2 till 6 in 2 trades aint bad
then made wind druid and found soj some days ago
also today found 5 fhr 4 all res sc and sold for 3 hrs in 1 min
now i made an soso and was in need of hell dias so i joind a game called speed-diaruns-... or so and guess what the bot dropped an 20l sc whitch i traded for an soso t
got my stuff worth +- 40 hrs in like 2 weeks
not bad for a newb
